I Don't Hate You (Klance)

   I lunged in after Lance. I landed my lion and ran out as fast as I could only to find myself surrounded by sentries. I drew my sword and tried to fight them off. I lasted for a good 5 minutes but a sentry smashed me in the back of the head and I fell over. A galra walked over and picked up my bayard and walked away.

   I saw lance being dragged down the hallway. I tried to stand up but I was kicked  back down. Another galra handcuffed me and dragged me to my cell. Surprisingly there was a window with a perfect view of the battle. Lasers flying back and forth between the ships.

I saw a wormhole open up. "No no no!" I whispered "No don't give up!" The castle went through but the ship went in after it. In the wormhole the battle continued. The castle delivered one devastating blow that must have hit the engine. The ship started tumbling. I hit the wall then the ceiling then the floor then the wall then the ceiling then the floor wall ceiling floor wall ceiling floor. Each time I caught a glance at ships and escape pods flying out. I could tell we were no longer in the wormhole. I saw a small group of ships towing our lions out.

I felt like i was phasing in and out of consciousness. The tumbling stopped only now i was stuck to the ceiling. I couldn't move. We had been caught by the gravitational pull if what I hoped was not a star. The ship crashed to the ground and I launched through the window. I landed on the ruble. I was bloody and bruised but i don't think anything was broken. Why would they leave us?. I thought then I remembered, LANCE! I dug through the wreckage looking for any signs of him.

After hours if digging I found him. I checked his vitals and made sure he was alive. Both of his legs and one of his arms were broken as well as a few cracked ribs. I carried him to a small cave and made some casts out of large leaves.

The planet we landed on appeared to be habitable with lush green grass, large trees with fruit hanging off them and a large lake with seemingly clean water. I sat down next to Lance and poured some water on his face so he would wake up. I explained what had happened but I don't think he fully comprehended it as he was still very woozy.

We ate some fruit and drank some water. As night fell things began to quiet. So many sounds I didn't even acknowledge before now gone and it left a feeling of emptiness where i didn't think there was anything to begin with. Lance leaned his head on my shoulder. My face felt hot. He leaned in and whispered "I love you Keith." And kissed me softly. I blushed deeply. He rested his head in my lap and fell asleep.

But I couldn't. So many things were flying through my head. It was dizzying. I was awake for hours. I only began to doze off as the star that this planet orbited around rose and only fell all the way asleep when it was all the way in the sky.
