I Don't Hate You (Klance)

Lance

   Days passed and we were still stuck on this planet. I was still immobile so I only left the cave when Kieth carried me. He came back from getting firewood one day and laid it down in the pit. We decided start the fire outside tonight and look at the stars.

   Night fell and Keith started the fire and dragged me next to it. "Hey hey not to close!" I yelled. "I don't want the cast burnt off again." He sighed and moved me slightly away from it. We sat in silence for a minute. "Hey Kieth" I broke the quiet. "Yeah?" He responded.

   "Do you think they're looking for us?"

   "I hope so."

   "You don't think they would have found us by now?"

   "I don't know. I don't want to give up hope though."

   "I guess that's a good way of thinking. I just... I don't know, have a feeling that they've given up."

   "Don't think like that, the universe is a huge place. They can only cover so muck ground at a time."

   We sat in silence for a couple more minutes. "Hey Lance" Kieth said this time. "Yeah?" I replied.

   "Do you remember much about the day we crashed?"

   "Not really... That was all my fault wasn't it?"

   "No it wasn't."

   "Yeah it was, if I hadn't gotten captured we wouldn't be here."

   "You had no control over that. And that's not what I wanted to talk to you about."

   "What did you then?"

   "Well that night, do you remember... um... kissing... me?"

   Crap, I did that? I thought it was a dream! "Uhhh whaaaat? Naaaahhh, I didn't do thaaaaaaat!"  You're over-selling it! "Lance, I know you're lying, I can hear it in your voice."

   "No you can't!"

   "Yes I can, and you  don't need to be embarrassed, I kinda liked it." I let out a sigh of relief. "Do you, Uhh, want to do it again?" I asked nervously. He hesitated for a moment. "Sure" he replied with the hint of a smirk on his face. We pressed our lips together. He wrapped his arms around my neck and I fell over. He rolled off me and laid next to me and we drifted to sleep together. I woke up to a bright light and Kieth standing over me. "I told you not to give up hope." He said. Just then I realized the light was coming from the castle.
