Time stands still
As the pain tarries on
All the burden and stress
To much to bear
But time stands still
Making the pain linger forever more
As I look ahead
To see where it ends
Almost there I think
Then the clock seems to stop
Making the journey lengthened to eternity
Time stands still as I sit in pain and anguish
The stripes I count
But eventually I lose count
As time seems to stand still
And the cost is my suffering
Time stands still
Oh why
Does this happen to only me
The one with eternal suffering
