The sound. The loud indistinguishable sound. The sound made everyone cringe at the thought of what made it. The noise was short but horribly unpleasant.
Snap
Dylan looked over to Cloud to see the cause of the noise. Sal glanced at its direction. Jesse stared wide-eyed at Cloud. Cloud was frozen with fear. Dylan's blood literally ran cold at the sight in front of him.
Cloud's. Neck. Was. Ripped. In. Half.
Cloud was still alive, still breathing, but you could see his esophagus through the cut the axe made. He took a breath and everyone paled as the long pink bloody tube visibly
MovedIf Dylan wasn't mad at Sal. Now he was. Jesse and Sal weren't sure if Sal would live to see another day. Dylan dove for Sal's throat and clamped his hands around it, unabling Sal to breathe. Jesse flat out fainted.
After the chaos had subsided, Sal had a black eye and three scratches down her face, Cloud's neck was bandaged and he had a hard time breathing, Dylan stayed close to Cloud and glared at Sal the entire time, Jesse told stories to try and cheer everyone up. Mist felt horrible, this had shaken the kids up. This. Was nothing compared to what was coming up.
What scared everyone was everytime Cloud spoke or coughed. Blood trickled down his mouth and you could see it collect under the bandages.
