Chapter One: Surprise Phone Call

~Ashley's POV~

I wake up to the sound of my iphone ringing. Ughh! I stayed up until like two in the morning all because I was on twitter following my favorite band. It's now eleven-thirty in the morning and my damn iphone was still ringing. I snatched my phone from under my pillow. "Hello?" I say into the phone sleepily. "HI! Is this Ashley?" said a male's voice. "Uhh yes? Who is this?" I say becoming more awake now. "Well love, you're on the phone with One Direction. Say hi boys!" I heard four "hellos" and one "I LOVE CARROTS!" I blinked a few times, "One Direction? As in the British boy band from X-Factor?" I ask unsure if this was real or not. "Yup that is the one and only. I'm Simon Cowell by the way. The boys and I have a err request of you." I sat up in bed, "What is that request?" "Well the boys and I would love for you to come for a visit and maybe join the band as the surprise sixth member of One Direction. Now I've talked to your mother already and she is fine with you going to the United Kingdom to visit us. If you like it then you will move here, if you don't then it will be a wonderful vacation." Simon told me. I was silent for a few moments, "When do I leave?" I ask hearing people cheering in the background. "You leave in two hours. See you soon Ashley, I'll have the boys text you. Goodbye love." Simon said as he hung up. I stared at my iphone. HOLY SHIT I'M GOING TO THE UK TO VISIT ONE DIRECTION!!!!!!!!!!! My iphone began to vibrate signaling that I had a text message. It did that five times. I look at it and saw five text messages from five unknown numbers. They all said, "Helloooo Ashley! Can't wait to see you in person!" The only thing different about them was their signatures. Harry's said "Harry xx"; Liam's said "Liam xx"; Zayn's said "Zayn xx"; Niall's said "Niall xx"; and Louis said "Louis loves carrots! xx." I laughed at Louis signature and sent a quick reply saying, "I can't wait to meet you guys too!" I checked the time on my phone and freaked out when I saw that I only had an hour and a half to pack for who knows how long. I quickly rushed around the room and started packing my bag.

~Louis's POV~

So the boys and I were all called into Uncle Si's office early that morning. We just finished the X-Factor a week ago. "Hey Liam, do you know what Simon is wanting to talk to us about?" Liam looked back at me and shook his head, "No, but I know we're going to find out." The boys and I were walking down the hallway to Simon's office. I ran ahead and knocked on the door. Simon opened the door and gestured for us to come in. He sat down behind his desk and we took the seats in front of his desk. "So what did you want to discuss with us Uncle Si?" Harry asked. We all looked at him. He waited a second before saying, "Liam, Niall, Zayn, Harry, Louis I've decided to add a sixth member to your band if she accepts. She is from America and will be coming here in two hours. One of you lads will have to give her a place to sleep, and please make her feel welcomed. She has had a hard life growing up."What could of happened to her I wondered. "What's her name?" Niall asked interrupting Simon in the process. "Her name is Ashley," he said dialing his phone. I heard a sleepy "hello" come from the other end of the line. "HI! Is this Ashley?" Uncle Si asked into the phone. I looked at the boys as I realized what he was doing. It looks like they did too. All of the sudden I heard Uncle Si say, "Say hi boys!" Harry, Liam, Niall, and Zayn all said, "Hello," while I screamed, "I LOVE CARROTS!" After that I zoned out and then suddenly Simon said for us to take our phones out. He wasn't talking to Ashley anymore. We all obediently took our phones out and put her number in them. Then we all texted her like we were told too. It was somehow decided that Ashley would be staying at mine and Harry's place. "Alright lads you better go get ready for her arrival. She'll be here in one hour." Simon tells us as he shoos us out of his office. We all look at each other, "So do you young fellows think this is a good idea?" I ask them. They all shrugged, "I guess we'll find out soon," Zayn said. With that we all headed back to our flats to get ready for Ashley's arrival.

~Ashley's POV~

My iphone started beeping. I had an email. I checked it and it was my flight ticket and information. I grabbed my suitcase and told my mom I was leaving now. She hugged me goodbye. I walked out of the door and got into my black SUV. I tossed my suitcase in the backseat before turning on my SUV. One Direction's, "I should've kissed you" started playing through the speakers. I smiled and started to sing along to the lyrics as I drove to the airport. I parked my SUV in long term parking and then grabbed my suitcase and got out. I locked the doors and then headed inside the airport. The baggage lady took my bag and then told me to go through security. I obliged and in ten minutes I was seated on the plane to London. I looked out the window as the plane took off. I decided I would try to get some shut eye since I had the time. I closed my eyes and quickly fell asleep.
