Chapter 18

"Frankie wake up!"

"Ehhhhhhhhhh!"

I am so tired. I couldn't sleep all night. Every time I was close to falling asleep, some crazy image would seep into my brain. Like Tom and Pansy or my parents getting divorced.

"Get up lazy!" Flynn says, chucking one of my many decorative pillows that now litter my bedroom floor.

"I don't wanna!" I whine, rolling over.

"Oh get up u little whiner!" a familiar voice calls.

"JERRY!"

I jump out of bed and tackle her to the ground in a hug.

"Hey Frank!" she says laughing.

"I missed you!" I get up and help her up.

"Oh I missed you to pancake! How's school? Do u have any friends? Are they being nice to you?" She asks, sitting down on my bed and Flynn leaves us to catch up.

"Everyone's very welcoming! I have a lot of friends! Oh Jerry you must meet them all!" I tell her.

"Oh well look at you! You've been here a week and your already talking like on of them." She laughs.

Jerry is Australian, just like me. She has very tan skin and dark hair. Honestly she could pass as Kate and Cams mum.

"Speaking of which you have to get ready for school! Come on!" she ushers me out the door and down the stairs.

I eat breakfast and gush over every detail about England to Jerry.

After breakfast I go upstairs and walk towards my now full wardrobe. Jerry brought the remainder of my clothes and went shopping for me. She also brought the rest of my possessions like my laptop, my photos and my books. I am very protective of my books and I do not trust movers it handle them with the care and respect they deserve. Only Jerry would.

I have quite a lot of books and I don't think I could live without any of them. I like to read the classics like Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice, Withering Heights, The Harry Potter Collection, The Great Gatsby, How to kill a Mocking bird, Jane Eyre, Romeo and Juliet and heaps others! I have a thing for classic books. I'm not a fan of modern literature but I do read quite a bit of it like John Greens 'Looking for Alaska' , 'The Faults in our Stars', and 'Paper Towns'. I do love a good love story. Nicholas Sparks books hold a very special place in my heart ever since I read 'The Notebook'.

I think all up I have well over 150 books!

I walk over and pick up my rather old copy of The Secret Garden and brush some of the dust off it and place it on the book shelf that covers a whole wall in my room. I know I shouldn't really be getting comfortable because I will only be here for a year but something tells me ill be here for a while longer and I want to be comfortable for the ride.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Something tells me I should have taken either Jerry or Flynn up on their offer for a ride to school. I don't know what I was thinking! Sure lets just walk to school when it's cloudy and drizzling and cold in only a pair of blue jeans and a navy blue sweater!

Good one Frankie!

"Need a lift?!" someone shouts to me through the, for now, light rain.

I turn around and see the familiar black car that belongs to non other than Drew Moore...
