"Hey Cas you know I love you right?" Dean asked wrapping his arms around Castiel's waist as he washed the dishes.

"Of course I do you tell me everyday." Castiel replied turning around giving Dean a kiss making the grown mam blush like a little school girl.

"And you love me the same right?" Dean questioned.

"Nope," Was all Castiel answered staring at Dean who froze. " I love you more." Castiel finished laughing at Dean's facial expression

"Okay good, not funny by the way." Dean said before disappearing into the living room.

Castiel shook his head with a smile on his face and continued with the dishes. Everything felt fine. Things were looking up. There was less coughing and more sunshine.

The sound of Elvis could be heard filling the small apartment. Castiel was confused but didn't really care beginning to sing along with the music.

"Hey Cas, I love you so very much," Dean started "You are my strenght and weakness and everything that I need in life."

Castiel felt a blush creeping up on his cheeks. He was still very confused as to what was going on but like the music didn't really mind. It just made him feel loved wich was all he wanted.

"We've been together for a long time and I was wondering if you'd," Dean stopped and waited a bit for the music to catch up "take my hand take my hand, take my whole life too. For I cant help falling in love with you. For I cant help falling in love with you." He sang kneeling down on one knee with a velvet box in his hands.

"Castiel will you marry me?"

Castiel dropped the plate causing blue shards of glass to scatter everywhere. Dean did not deserve someone whos only weeks away from death. He deserves someone better. Someone who will grow old and someone to make memories over time with and it pained Castiel it couldn't be him.

Castiel finally decided it was time for the truth
