ONE MONTH LATER

After a long day of school I arrive home. When I get to my room I carelessly through my bag in the corner and slump down in my chair. As I go through my phone I hear a beep, I check my notifications and see that Milly just snapchatted me saying "movie night?" With a popcorn emoji. I reply with "sure, be there soon" and an excited face emoji.

I get my Nike backpack and put some things in it that I'll probably need. As I walk down stairs I see my auntie Bella sitting on the couch watching some sort of cooking show. As she turns around and looks at me she yells "where do you think your going Chelsea"
"I'm going to Milly's place" I yell back at her.
" No your not, I'm in charge of you now"
I just roll my eyes and walk out the door as it slams behind me.

Me and my auntie have never been that close. When I was little she accused me of stealing money from her wallet, I didn't do it but her and mum had a big fight about it and we haven't talked since. As I walk to Milly's house I'm not really concentrating on where I'm going, then suddenly I walk straight into someone bumping my head on theirs. "Oh sorry" I say sounding stupid
"No I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going" the person says as he helps me up.

As I look up at him I realize that it's Ciaran.
"Chelsea" he says sounding surprised and embarrassed.

"I haven't seen you in a while" he says to me.

"Yeah, I've just had a lot on my plate lately"

Then he starts twiddling his thumbs as he looks to the ground and then back up at me. He then says in a nervous voice,
"Hey, my friend is having a party tomorrow night, I know it's late notice but do you want to go with me?"

"Sure, it sounds fun" I say smiling. Something about Ciaran just brightens my mood.

"Wait, really?" he says walking backwards in shock, as he is looking at me he trips on a rock.

I can't help but to laugh a little.

"Um, well I'll text you the details later, bye" he says with a bright smile.

After a bit of walking I finally arrive at Milly's. When I get to her room she already has a tonne of snacks out.

"So, I was thinking about a Miraculous marathon" she says with cheesy smile.

"You know me too well" I say laughing at her.

I ate so much food but I blame Milly cause she got it all out, we had pizza, Skittles, popcorn, hazelnut chocolate and Pringles. Just as I close my eyes already half asleep I get a text,
"I didn't give you permission to stay at Milly's house, you are in a lot of trouble young lady" auntie Bella wrote in the message.
I can't be bothered to deal with her right know so instead I just bury my head in the soft pink blanket. I fall asleep almost instantly, Milly's already out cold.

In the morning I get up to get myself a drink of water. When I get back up to the room Milly is up and straight away she's on her phone. She then shows me something. "Is that a picture of Ciaran" I say sounding so confused.

"Yeah, it's his instagram account"
"You should follow him" she says.

"If I follow him I'll look like a stalker"

"No you won't, you weirdo" Milly then says with a smirk.

"Fine, I'll follow him" I say. Shortly after I do so Ciaran sends me a text with the Party details and a message saying "pick you up at six" with a winky face.

Milly must have seen the text because I looked at her and her jaw dropped.
"He asked you out" Milly says squealing and punching my arm.
"Why aren't you more exited you weirdo"

"Cause it's not as if he likes me" I say "and why did you punch me? Calm down"

"Of course he likes you. Omg this is so exiting, you have to let me help you pick your outfit and do your makeup and, wow there's so much to do"

"It's not that much of a big deal" I say laughing.
Milly just stares at me with a blank face and I smile back at her just to annoy her.

Me and Milly decided to go to the mall. When we arrive she instantly runs into Supré. She picks up a little black strappy dress, "this will be so cute for the party" she squeals.

After we bought the dress Milly made me go and buy some new heels. But I can't lie, they are super cute. She also decided to buy me a shiny pink bomber jacket from City Beach with stitched roses on the back.

After we had finally finished shopping we went and got some sushi and then walked back to Milly's house.
