Early Saturday morning I'm woken up by the noise of a vehicle pulling up outside. "Its too early" I say in a tired voice as I slowly sit up and stagger over to the window to see what's going on. I wipe the sleeve of my shirt over the window to clear the glass and I stare out only to see a moving van pulling up in the drive way of the house across the road. Intrigued I stare a little longer as a car pulls up shortly after. My jaw drops as I see a guy step out of the car. "He is hot" I whisper to myself. suddenly My bedroom door opens, I turn around as mum says to me " ahh, I see you've noticed the new neighbors, anyway get dressed I'm taking you to Milly's house". "Why" I say then mum replies "I got a call this morning, they need me at the office today". Mums always getting called into the office on her days off, she works for the city counsel and honestly I don't think they could survive without my mum there, she's basically the only one who even works hard.
I chuck on my little black dress from Cotton On and my white vans and as I'm racing around my room grabbing things I manage to trip over the end of my bed. "You okay up there" mum yells from downstairs. "I'm fine" I reply. "I'm so stupid" I say to myself laughing. I don't bother to grab breakfast, I just race down the stairs and jump in the car.
We drove for about 20 minutes and finally we pulled up outside Milly's house. I get out of the car and hear someone calling me, "Chelsea" I turn around and see Milly running towards me, before I knew it she had basically tackled me to the ground while giving me a hug. We both stand up and start laughing. "calm down girls" mum says also laughing "See you later in the afternoon Chel, ill text you when I finish work" "bye mum" I say smiling. Me and Milly run into her room. I throw myself onto Milly's double bed and get out my UE boom so we can listen to some music. "Hey Chelsea, how have you been" Milly's mum says to me walking in. "good thanks Mrs Jackson" I reply. "ill leave you girls now, let me know if you need anything" Milly's mum says as she closes the door. From then on me and Milly basically just sat there on our phones, listening to music and occasionally being stupid, I mean you an clearly tell that we are best friends.
