I can't get Sunday out of my head. How mad the kids were. How much damage happened between everyone.

Sitting here in last period with Jay. It brings it back full force.

"Alliya. Are you alright?" Jay asks me, standing up. He looks around, and takes me to the back of the library, making me look at him. "Alliya."

"I'm.... I'm fine." I smile, but he doesn't buy it.

"Don't lie to me." I sigh.

"After Sunday, it feels like you're not here anymore." He nods.

"Now we're getting somewhere. Look, Sunday left us all rattled. Mostly Mal. Look, I'm not one for the mushy mushy, but what the heck. What I did to Chad? That was to mainly protect you. I was also protecting Evie from him. You understand right?" I nod. "Because I don't know what I'd do if...." he stops.

"If?" I prompt.

"If I lost you." He gives me a tear filled stare, and I hug him.

"Me either." I feel him bury his face in my hair, and his smile. We stay like that for a while, just for the heck of it.

When the bell rings, he lets go of me, and we grab our stuff. I drop him off at tourney practice, and go into my dorm.

And both my friends are gone. I sit in my dorm room for the longest time, before Iago flaps on my bed.

"Where's Lonnie?" Royo climbs his tiny little self onto my lap, and I grin.

"I don't know, Iago. Why are you asking me?" He shrugs.

"Because. Normally she's here." He goes back to sleep, and I laugh.

"You like her." He perks up.

"I do not." Royo and I exchange a look. "Okay, fine, I might like her a tad." I pick Royo up, and set her next to Iago.

"Royo, I think Iago is growing old and delusional." He squawks.

"Old and delusional?! Missy, I have lived through your Father and Jafar. I may be old, but I am NOT delusional." A knock comes to my door, and I answer it.

With a gleaming Jay on the other side.

"Cherie?" I laugh.

"Did you let Lumiere get to you?" I invite him in. "Question." I close the door after him, and he drops his bags. "Is Iago old and delusional?" Iago squawks.

"I am not!"

"I dunno." He wraps his arms around me, and puts his head on my shoulder. "He lived with my father for a very long time. I'd say all that madness made him a little crazy." He laughs at Iago's reaction.

"Son, I'll have you know....." I cut the d bird off.

"Iago, we're making fun of you." I grin. "I have a question." I look at Jay. "Do you even know how to dance?" He shakes his head.

"We didn't do much dancing on the island. Why?" I grin more.

"I'll have to help fix that." I grab my iPod (I like to incorporate modern technology into these kinds of stories. Sorry if this offends anyone.) "Two songs." He sigh, but he grins.

"Okay." I pull him to the middle of my room, and hit play.

"I can't count the times
I almost said what's on my mind
But I didn't." Surprisingly, he takes the lead, moving me around my room... kinda like he knew how to do this.

"Just the other day
I wrote down all the things I'd say
But I couldn't
I just couldn't

Baby I know that you've been wondering
Mmm, so here goes nothing
