Imani's POV

It was a Sunday morning, and I was at the breakfast table with Harry.

"Harry, you said you've figured out the egg! The task is in a month!" I exclaim.

"Relax, Imani, it's in a month." he says, smiling slightly, scooping eggs into his mouth.

I glare at him. "It very well could save your ass," I retort, and he pretends to be offended. I'm about to ask him something when I see something very unusual. Sofia's marching angrily, but something's different. She's ginger! Her tan skin contrasts unusually with red hair, and she sits down next to us, fuming. She violently stabs her sausages, and Harry makes the mistake of snickering. Sofia stares at him, and his eyes widen in fear.

"I'm s-sorry." he stutters, and she looks at him for a while, as if thinking about whether to let him go, or hex him, and thankfully, she lets him go. I'm about to ask, when she speaks up.

"My stupid boyfriend and Ron decided it would be hilarious to dye my hair ginger after I showed off my ability to not get sunburnt easily," she says quickly, and angrily. A plan forms in my head, and I'm just about to tell her when she jumps up from her seat. I look to where she's looking and she sees Fred and Ron. I look over to Harry and we both gulp.

"Pertrificus Totalus!" she says quietly and quickly, so that the teachers don't hear. She walks over to both of them and pulls them by the ear to outside the hall, their grins still evident on their faces. Harry and I rush outside to watch.

We see Neville and Luna awkwardly holding hands as they walk in, not even noticing us. I glance at Sofia, Ron by her side, unfrozen, looking petrified as she corners Fred into a wall.

Ron runs to me and Harry's side and slaps Harry on the shoulder, and kisses me to greet me. I smile into the kiss, but quickly pull away when I hear a groan.

"Seriously?! You're kissing now? My girlfriend's about to kill me and you're about to kiss?" Fred screeches. George had come when I was ... busy. He was standing by Sofia's side, whispering something in her ear.

"Guys, how should I punish him?" she asks. George's and my hands shoot up. She picks me, and I say in the most important voice I can muster.

"Prank war. Me, Sofia and George on one team, and Ron, Harry and Fred on the other. Luna and Neville can judge." I say. Sofia's eyes light up, and she smiles wickedly.

"Please Sofia, can we just tie Fred to a tree in the Forbidden Forest shirtless? Just for a night!" George exclaims, and Sofia laughs.

"The prank war sounds fun," she says, and Fred looks smug.

"What's the prize?" he asks.

"The winning team can make the losing do any ten things." She declares. "It shall start from tonight, after you remove the dye."

Fred whispers the anti-hex, and George shakes Fred's hand.

"May the best-"

"Prankster win."

TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY MY WAND

Imani's POV

It's around 6pm, and I'm in the library, discussing tactics with Sofia and George.

"Imani, I don't know if you know, but Ron's starstruck with you," George whispers. I blush and Sofia giggles.

The lessons are cancelled for some reason. It's extremely unusual. There's a light drizzle outside, and Sofia looks outside longingly. She looks at me with longing in her eyes and I shake my head firmly. It's January and freezing, I'm not letting her get sick like last time. George captures my attention once again.
