The next morning, Morgan wakes up and sees her mum still laying there unresponsive, she starts to huff and puff from just being fed up of everything that's been going on, she rubs her hands on her face and exhales deeply, then she sees a silhouette beside the door entrance

"Hi Morgan, are you okay?" Vincent asks her, then he sits down on the other side of her mum,

"What you doing here?" Morgan bluntly asks

"Come to see your mother" he responds in his husky deep voice,

"Fair enough, what will happen to me if anything happens to her?" Morgan asks him

"My uncle Jim is your godfather, you'd have to go live with him for a bit..."

"Until I get my own place" Morgan interrupts

"Yeah exactly" Vincent looks sorrowful at Morgan

"I am sorry about everything I've done" Vincent tries to apologise

"Yeah it doesn't matter anymore now does it? I mean it's in the past right?"
Morgan looked square in his eyes with no emotion,

"I suppose so I know sorry doesn't make anything better..."

"So why say it?" Morgan asks him

"Because I am" Vincent answered, Morgan stays focused on her mother, Vincent sighs under his breath and walks out the room,

"Vincent" Morgan stops him in his tracks

"Yes"

"I still know you're my dad, you don't need to try to make me know, I already do" Morgan sits back down next to her mother's hospital bed,

"Great Uncle Jim will be here in about three hours to pick you up"

"Why where does he live?" Morgan moaned about how long away she might have to go

"He lives in Boston, up north"

"Oh my god, I cant live all the way up there, what about my friends and that?" Morgan moans and groans some more, she stops talking and huffs whilst staring at her mother "Why now mum?"

"Don't blame ya mother Morgan" Vincent sternly stands there and speaks to her "Don't, your mother don't deserve it, after everything I've done"

"Yeah you can say that again" Morgan sniffles

"Look I know its hard but..."

"You don't know shit Vincent, you just know how to get drunk and ruin everything" Morgan rubs her nose and walks out the room and stands outside the entrance doors to the hospital, she goes into her fur coat pocket and pulls out a purse, she opens her purse to find a photo of her and her mum together by a beach, Vincent walks out too,

"Is that you and your mum at Skegness beach?"

"yeah" Morgan chuckles, Morgan the puts it back in her purse and he purse back in her pocket, she then goes into her other pocket and pulls out a packet of cigarettes and a clipper lighter,

"What the fuck?!" Vincent takes the packet off her "You're smoking now?"

"Only a little bit, mums okay with it so just don't be a knob" Morgan pleads with her dad

"You shouldn't be smoking" Vincent looks at her with sorrowful eyes then he throws the packet somewhere over the cars at the car park

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Morgan gets angry with Vincent then she goes to look for her packet of cigs, eventually she does find them, she grabs one out of the packet and lights it up

"That's a disgusting habit Morgan, stop while you can" Vincent tries to persuade her

"Vince, I do not care to be quite honest mate, I want to smoke, if I don't then I wont but I do so I will" Morgan explains it to him

"Fair enough, but promise me this is the extent of your antics" Vincent sternly stands and looks at her with a serious face, Morgan smiles and says

"Can't make any promises"

"fine, I shall see you around Morgan" Vincent walks away to his car and drives off, she looks at the clock behind her and says 5:30pm

"So Jim will be here at around half eight, great"! Morgan moans as she takes a drag of her cigarette,

Three hours later,  an old Peugeot 206 pulls up outside the hospital, an elderly gentleman gets out of the car, white hair, looks like an older version of Michael Cudlitz,

"Morgan is that you?" he says, I blow out the smoke from my mouth.
