Savannah Clarke had always been what any cliché high schooler would call an "outsider". The type of girl who didn't fit in with any of their typical cliques - cheerleader, jock, nerd.
She was just a girl who would share an occasional knowing look with Riverdale's star footballer - Jason Blossom.
Her best friend, Piper Dowers, would cast her usual disapproving glance in Savannah's direction before she would let out a sigh and nod her head, watching as the girl bounced off toward the janitor's closet.
That was their normal. An affair hidden from a blonde party girl, who trusted her boyfriend, never expecting his life to be a mystery.
And no one, expected him to become one.
