~Chapter 1~

The lights slowly flickered then suddenly turned off. Great, another snowstorm. Our science teacher said,"Well looks like a snowstorm. Be good I'm going to see the principal." I stood up and said,"Juli?" After not hearing an answer I said,"Julianna?" She finally said,"Over here, Oli." I stepped towards her voice and accidentally ran into a tall boy. "Watch where you're going, Olivia. You might get ran over." I could hear a smirk in John's voice. He was the hottest guy in school. How he knew my name is a mystery to me. I stuttered out,"Y-Yeah I w-wouldn't wanna g-get ran o-over." And then I nervously laughed. Smooth, Olivia, real smooth. I hopped out of the way before he could say anything and bumped into Juli. She said,"I heard your run-in with John, Oli. That was smooth." I laughed and said changing the subject,"Looks like we're snowed in again. I'm tired of sleeping in sleeping bags on the gym floor." Mr. Kennedy came back in and said,"Looks like y'all will be here tonight. I'll turn on the emergency lights." A small glow lit up the room partly. I told Mr. Kennedy I was going to the bathroom and I'd be back. When I got back they already passed out sleeping bags and there was none left. Just my luck. Julianna told me I could share with her. I guess that's better than nothing, she is my best friend. I pulled out my phone because they don't really care if we're on them when were snowed in and noticed I had a message from a strange number. It said:

Hey hottie. Do you want to share my sleeping bag? ;)

Looks like another perv. All these guys fall all over me and it's so stupid. I only have one crush. John Dawkins. So I just didn't answer. My phone vibrated:

Come on babe I saw you read that!

I'm sort of creeped out now so I just replied with a simple 'who is this?' and kept talking to Juli. Then I received a message saying:

The answer to your wildest dreams;) I want you to be in my sleeping bag tonight, meet me in the lunchroom at 3 o'clock if you wanna know who I am.

Well the only thing I can do is meet then in 30 minutes. That should be fun. I gossiped with Juli like usual just trying to pass the time. I looked at my phone and saw it said 2:58 I said a quick bye to Juli and jogged to the lunchroom. I was excited but nervous.

I stepped into the lunchroom only to be greeted by emptiness. Looks like I was ditched. I thought I would sit and wait a moment but nobody came. As I left I ran into John again. I asked him,"What are you doing?" He sharply turned towards me, not knowing I was there before I talked, and blushed furiously then said,"Um I'm uh looking for Tanner." Right he's looking for Tanner, his best friend. "I saw him earlier with Owen in the English room." He mumbled a thanks and went off that way. I went back to find Juli. "Sorry I had to put up my books." I told her. She said,"It's fine." She started to tell me something but I couldn't stop thinking about the mystery boy.
