Regret [On Hold]

Chapter 1

I woke up to the same noises. It was annoying. The same cries , same yelling , sound of glass shattering , furniture screeching and the strong smell of alcohol. It was always once a week that I'd  wake up to is at 2am. It was mostly everyday Saturday but today was different , it was Thursday. I grabbed my phone to see the time expecting it to be 2am but well , "1:00am" ooh one hour early than usual I thought. Sick of all the bullshit I dragged myself out of bed , changed into jeans and a hoodie, grabbed my earphones and obviously phone and left the house quietly to avoid my drunken father abusing my step mother in their room.

I walked to the nearest coffee shop which was 5 mins away from my place and it wasn't long until I had reached my destination . I inhaled the addicting smell of coffee . It felt calming. I ordered espresso , loving the taste of bitterness on my tongue with my first sip. I blankly stared out of the window thinking about literally nothing.

I was lost zoning out when I felt a hand tap at my shoulder once , twice. I paused my music and turned around to see who it was. A guy, smiling at me.
A guy. I hate guys. I hated the smile on his face because it felt like I lowkey knew his intentions , all guys ask if they can sit next to you , start conversations with cheesy comments , ask if they can be your friends , after a few days they cross their line and expect you to accept them. Ugh all guys are the same  , I resumed my music and stared out of the window of the coffee shop.

Not even 2 minutes had  passed and someone pulled my hood down  ... That's it. I tried so hard not to bark at him asking what he wanted but I ended up doing it.
"What do you want from me ?!" I barked.literally barked.
He just smirked in return.
Oh boi you'll regret.
"Wipe that smirk off of your face before I do" I snapped.
"Pfft and  how will you?" "Try me" I replied instantly and regretted it when he said "then let me"
He must be daring.
Before I spoke something "can I have a seat?" He said
Oh check ✔️ first step. Just like I said what all men do.

"Disturb me or get killed. Now choose wisely" I said
"Rude" he replied back in a low tone , intentionally wanting me to hear it. I just ignored him. I started using random apps on my phone since I told him not to disturb me as if I was doing something very important. Im not usually like this but I thought about his smile when I first saw him few mins ago ,it was kind of cute, his little bunny teeth showing. He had a face of a baby but a nice well built body , I could tell. So just to distract myself from thinking about him I started playing piano tiles and just when I was about to beat my previous high score I heard his phone ring and I lost concentration. I cursed under my breath as I watched  him leave to attend the call.
1minute..2minutes..3minutes..why am I counting time..I-
No it can't be.. I can't fall for him.Thats disgusting ..no no.. I shouldn't. 5 minutes now and he wasn't back..
