Love. My parents loved each other. That's all I know about love right now. Perhaps this man could teach me how to love.

Y/N woke up tired and exhausted.

"Y/N!" May, her personal servant said, waking her up.

"...?" Y/N replied, sleepily, rubbing her eyes as she sat up gently.

"You must get ready now. The ball is tonight, and you need to be prepared beforehand." May warned.

"Yes, okay. Thank you, May." Y/N replied. Other servants rushed in and helped me get dressed. This was a usual routine.

Afterwards, I headed to the dining table. "Good morning father." Y/N greeted.

"Good morning, Y/N. I wish you rested well." Philip--Y/N, Angelica, and Peggy's father--replied.

"I did." Y/N smiled. Angelica came in, dragging Peggy along by the ear. "Come on, Peggy." Angelica sighed.

"I don't want to go to this ball thing!" Peggy complained. Angelica and Y/N frowned.

Philip got up and walked over to Peggy. He took him to the living room to speak.

"Wasn't it the other day when we snuck into town that Peggy wanted to abide by father's rules, and now she wants to forget the ball that he arranged?" Y/N whispered.

"Who knows, Y/N. Peggy's been acting up lately and no one knows why." Angelica replied.

"Hm.." Y/N furrowed her eyebrows. "Are we going to be in town again today?"

"Yes, but not to sneak. Father wants us to meet the actual townspeople before the ball." Angelica nodded.

"Okay." Y/N nodded back. Afterwards, they finished their breakfast in silence when Peggy and their father came back.

"Okay, girls. Let's go to the town square." Philip announced. "If you must freshen up, do so now. We're leaving a quarter to 2." he pointed to the clock, which showed 1:35.

Y/N got up and ran down about 3 hallways and into her room. (first world problems much?) She had spilled a bit of her tea on her dress and it had a light brown stain on it due to so.

Since everyone was either out running errands, cooking for the Ball, or tidying the house, Y/N had to change on her own.

She had everything on until she had to fix her hair back, as it gets messy in the changing process.  But she didn't know how. Her mother never taught her as she'd grown up.

"I could go traditional." Y/N sighed. She heard a knock at the door. "Eh?"

"Y/N, hurry up. The carriage is already ready and we're all waiting for you." Peggy called from the other side.

"Okay." Y/N replied, brushing her hair and putting it in a tight ponytail.

Y/N ran outside. "I'm here!" she said.
