It was second class when I next saw Budo, sitting boredly at his desk already. I could already feel my cheeks burning as I noticed Taro at the front of the class, also sitting at his desk- he was writing something in a textbook. I smiled to myself as I sat at my desk, staring deep in thought over at Taro. I didn't take my eyes off him, even when the teacher arrived and started teaching the class.Budo's pov:
Silently, I sat at my desk, watching Ayano as she gawped in awe over my best friend. I felt something bubbling inside me, but I pushed it back down, refusing to take in the fact that I was jealous.
She's not good enough for a boy like me...
I shook the thought quickly out of my head, but the feeling still remained... This beautiful girl that I had just met, has gone head over heels... over my best friend.
"Masuta... Do you have any reason as to why you are clenching your pen, your going to break it.." Miss Makame said, glaring weirdly at me. I shook my head, dropping the pen on my desk and leaning my head on my palm. For a split second, I swear I could see Ayano's head turn to me, as if to see what was wrong. I looked over to her, expecting to see those puppy dog, cute grey eyes, staring intent at me, and her lips spread into a smile, but instead, I just saw the back of her head as she carried on with her trance, like she hadn't even heard Miss talk to me.
You need to stop this Budo, you going to lose Taro if you keep up this act!
I sighed, closing my eyes. I need to stop myself getting to evolved around her... I don't even think she notices me anymore...
I couldn't deal being in that class any longer... I shut my book and rose out of my chair, heading for the door and leaving as quick as I could. I didn't bother to look back at Ayano... because I knew she wouldn't have noticed.Ayano's pov:
Taro suddenly turned round to the other side of the room, his face worried.
"Budo..?" He yelled worriedly, rising slowly out of his chair. I whipped my head around fast enough to see the door slam shut. Budo's desk was empty...
Why did he walk out?
I looked back up to my senpai, who had sat back down, but was still staring at the door.
"Oh Taro... I want you to stare at me for once, like you did this morning..." I thought to myself, longing to see though deep brown eyes locked onto mine once again. It was almost like a craving, I needed to see it again. When Taro turned back around and continued working, I continued my day dreaming about him, and forgot all about what just happened. I forgot about Budo.Unknowns pov
Argh! Ayano! What are you doing!? This plan is going down the drain fast... How can I work around this somehow? I can't get in touch with Ayano or Budo... Taro neither.. I guess I'm going to have to go in stealth and try and draw each other nearer. Ayano... you would pick Taro over Budo, and you weren't even concerned when he walked out. The boys feelings are going to plan, it's just her feelings... The feelings she shouldn't have... I knew this would ruin my plans... We'll just have to wait a bit longer then, I'm sure they won't mind...
Hope you like the new chapter, next one will be coming out soon. See ya then! XoXo
