~ Sky's POV~
Our swords clashed. Sweat dripped from my forehead as I tried to push back my opponent's sword. "Really, Sky? We just started and you're already sweating? Man, you're really out of shape, aren't you?" My opponent laughed. "Just started? We 'Just started' over an hour ago! What are you even saying?!" I shouted in confusion. My opponent stuck out his leg, causing me to trip over him. My gold- Uh, I mean Budder-sword, fell next to me, my opponent holding his own at the back of my head. "Oops, it looks like you lost your balance. Pay more attention next time." My opponent said as he put his sword in its hilt, then offering me a hand to get up. I gladly accepted. I picked up my sword, putting it on my back. "Yeah...Whatever." I muttered. "That was an amazing spar, Sky!" A girl with brown hair and a blue hoodie shouted, running up and hugging me tightly. "Heh. Thanks, Em." I snorted silently. "Uh oh, it looks like those two might get together soon. Don't you think, Jerome?" Benja asked, turning to another boy with a tuxedo on. "Mhm." The boy replied with a smirk. I turned to the two as the girl let me go, my eyes scowled. "Really, guys? Emily and I are just friends. Just because she's a girl doesn't mean we will end up together..." I said in annoyance. "Pfft...Hahaha!" I turned my head to the person who was laughing; Deadlox. "You too, man?" I asked. "Skyly!" Was all he said before breaking into a laughing fit. I huffed as Emily looked at me, blushing a bit. "D-Don't say that, Deadlox!" She stuttered. Deadlox continued to laugh. "S-Seto! Tell them to stop shipping us!" Emily said, running and clinging onto a boy's arm; his wizard hat was tipped and his purple robe tightly wrapped around him. "Emily...Don't you know you could just use your magic on them? I've taught you how to use them, didn't I?" The boy chuckled as he pat Emily's back gently. "That's true! Come here, you brats!" Emily shouted as she jumped up, approaching the Canadian and Bacca. "Nope!" They said in unison, getting up and running into the forest. Deadlox followed behind them, screaming for his life. Emily ran after them. "You're not getting away that easily!" Her voice was fading as she went deeper and deeper into the forest. Seto got up and walked towards me. "I guess they will be busy for a while. Don't you think so, Sky?" He asked as he nudged my shoulder. I turned to him, clearly annoyed. "Yeah...Say, where's Kitty?" I asked. "Kitty? Is that your nickname for Cordelia?" He asked. "Yeah. She told me to call her that." I explained. "I see. Well, she should be in the Kingdom by now. She's been travelling overseas, you know." Seto replied. "Right. She was looking for her father with Noelle, wasn't she?" I asked. "Mhm. Now, how about we go find those friends of yours and sweet cousin of mine, yes?"

~Mari's POV~
"Learn to dodge correctly, Mari!" My father yelled. He swung his diamond sword at me, towards my legs. I stepped off to the side, blocking his sword with my own ruby one. He grunted then tried to swing at my stomach. I flipped over his head, landing on my feet. We were back to back. He turned, aiming for my head this time. I ducked, then attempting to trip him with my foot. He stepped off to the side. Now, as if by magic, his sword was planted on my neck. I dropped my weapon, blood searing from where his sword was placed. "You would have been killed, Mari..." My father's voice was low and ominous as he forced the sword deeper into my neck. Some blood squirted onto the bedrock floor as I began to gasp for air. "S-Sorry, Father. My skills must be getting r-rusty..." I replied, trying to keep myself from passing out. "Hm. It's pretty obvious, isn't it? You're getting very weak, Mari." My father said as he reluctantly took his sword off of my neck, putting it in its hilt. He then stared into my blue eyes. "I'm sorry, Father...I have failed in the arts of training." I apologized as I sat up, bowing to him. My father scoffed in my face, then left me in the training arena alone. I brushed off the fact that blood was slowly pouring down my neck and picked up my sword. I sat cross-legged on the floor, examining the Ruby object. "Miss Mari? Are you alright? Shall I bring you some new attire?" I heard a woman's voice call. I looked up towards the door, a young woman with torn clothes peeping at me with a worried face standing there. "No, you shouldn't. Leave me alone, you worthless peasant." I muttered as I looked up at the woman. "Y-Yes, Miss Mari! I'll leave right away!" The woman stuttered as she left, closing the iron door behind her. I sighed in annoyance and stood up, putting my sword on my back. My fists clenched, I walked to the door and swung it open, walking down the darkened hall. "I really feel like killing someone..."
