Chapter 4: Mother?

Peter's Pov

After embarrassing the ruthless Captain hook as usual, I flipped off the mast of the horrid ship. I sky Rocket towards the vast ocean waves for a moment hearing the exclaims and shouts of Hook's many men. I laughed in glee before I pulled up at the last second extending my hand to the cool salt water below and I came to float directly in front of the ship.

Hook glared up at me in disdain before he hit one of his men in the back of the head with his one good hand "Don't just stand there imbecile! Shoot him down!" He cried in anger.

I laughed once more before flying higher "I don't have time for your little game's hook. I've gotta find my new lassie!" I yelled down to the Captain.

I didn't notice as Hook's face went from anger to surprise before his cracked, scornful lips curved into a cruel smile.

I flew faster towards the island of neverland looking back slightly at my work on the ship. The mast was crooked, the wood chipped and where once had laid a carton of what I supposed was once explosives or oil based material there was now a burning scorch that had spread to half the ship. The canon's that had shot my precious...I mean (y/n) out into the open were now overturned and pointing into the ship. The sheets used to help the ship move were torn with the help of my mighty blade and another side was hanging by a thread literally.

"I'd say it was an improvement" I said to myself chuckling before I flew faster.

I finally came to the edge of Neverland and looked around the skies for the beauty who had traveled with me "(Y/N)!" I called excitedly. I couldn't wait to show her around, there was so much to do with her. So much to see...with her.

I felt a strange feeling in my chest and my face Began heating up, I shook my head in confusion "What's wrong with me? She's just a girl".

I flew over to my lost boys they'd definitely been able to get sight of her by now. I couldn't wait to introduce them to her.

Suddenly, a small light was coming towards me and fast. It grew bigger and I backed up a bit in mid air as the small object came in front of me stopping abruptly. A smile came to my face seeing that it was my companion Tinkerbell.

"Hey tink. Seen (y/n)? I can't--hey!" I was interrupted as Tinkerbell began pulling on my hair. I swatted her off of my head and looked at her angrily "What your problem?!" I yelled at her with a pout.

That's when I saw the urgency in her face and her bell like yelling, and it only took two words for me to start moving.

(Y/n)'s hurt...

I dropped from the sky my joy depleting and I flew quickly, Tinkerbell leading me. She zig zagged through the tree's and finally came to a clearing.

My lost boys were all huddled around a figure on the ground, their shoulders slumped and moods completely miserable. I slowly made my way towards them and the twins are the first who notice him.

They both immediately lower their eyes before backing away, the other boys see their action and with wide fearful yet guilty eye's they move aside. I was quickly able to see the overwhelming guilt in Nibs' (a lost boy if you guys didn't know) eyes.

I overlook it however and stares down at your body in shock, i lean down slowly unable to believe in such a short amount of time you had left me so quickly. My hand came to caress the side of your face brushing the hair from your closed eye's. Your cheek was warm but, you didn't show any sign of waking up.

"No.....(y/n)" I whispered my lips quivering slightly and a strange feeling bottled in my chest. Loss? Anger? Remorse? Hatred? L-l-lov---.

My shoulders sag and for the first time in my life I feel as if I was weak...useless...

Tinkerbell soon was by my side and my nose flared and my brows furrowed in anger as my heart constricted painfully and my eyes began to burn. Tinkerbell's small wings fluttered lightly and she fell slowly obviously saddened by your sudden departure.

I growled under my breath my teeth clenched and my hands curling into fists. I swiftly turned on the boys getting to my feet quickly.

"This was to be your new Mother. And your first action was to attack her?!" I yelled my anger flaring and the boys winced the twins hiding behind one another. Nibs flinched and Curly did as well looking down ashamed sniffling.

Before I know what I'm doing I pull out my sword that I had long ago stolen from the scavenger Pirates led by Captain hook.

All of the boys shuffle backwards and cower away from the glint of my weapon. I glare at them "She did not deserve this fate..." he said his anger rising.

I was about to leap forward when I heard a rapid tinkle of bells and I turned towards the little fairy. Tinkerbell was now off her feet and flying all over a look of relief crossing her features.

I knew what that meant instantly and I sighed in relief as I leaned back down to (Y/n) and looked at her lips closely. I noticed they were parted slightly and the slow rise and fall of her chest.

I smiled in relief and sheathed my sword with ease and turned back to the boys after picking up (y/n)'s limp body with ease. I held her close her head resting on my chest and I smiled down at her.

The boys looked at her happily and my anger disappeared for a moment "Your new mother Is alive. I can....forgive your actions only if she does" I said to them before they nodded and thanked e before marveling at their new mother.

I finally moved towards the tree that housed the underground home that me and the lost boys had made a long time ago.
