Chapter 10: Flying ship

The lost boys, Peter, and You marched through the forest grounds of Neverland. You all have been doing this for a good two hours so far but, it never got tiring especially with the lost boy's being in the mood to share a few of their own personal expierences in Neverland.

"...and then slightly took me out of the gator's mouth before Peter came to save us. Flying us way out of the pit" Curly described before you looked up at Peter as he floated above you all. The moment his name was announced he gave a proud smile making you giggle before clapping for Curly.

"Oh you were all so brave! But, I just can't begin to comprehend why you dove into an alligator's mouth" you said with a slight smile looking at Curly as he walked at your side.

Curly chuckled nervously rubbing the back of his head and running a hand through his golden locks of curly hair "Well...I don't know. It was fun at the time until, it closed it's mouth" he added making you all laugh.

Curly blushed in embarrassment before you ran a hand through his hair reassuringly "Well that was really brave but, next time. And there won't be a next time. Don't shove yourself into the mouth of a carnivore" you said with a teasing smile.

Curly nodded before linking arm's with slightly who had begun to climb the branch of a nearby tree. You chuckled before the other boys caught sight of what they were doing.

You watched as Twin Two and One began to hold into one another before climbing in sync. Nibs made his way up struggling slightly before groaning as he climbed into a sturdy branch followed by Tootles.

Tinkerbell flies towards you as the lost boys scurry landing on your shoulder with a small tinkle almost inaudible. You smile at her "Where have you been? Sleeping in?" You asked her and you snickered as she looked away her face a beaming red and her lips in a pout.

After a few moments, you hear Tootles yell "Coast is clear Capn' Peter!" With a croak before the others began to nod before searching the premise.

You look up at Peter for answers and he floats down towards you "We usually go on a look out around this time in search of Pirates. They always come in mid afternoon, it's like their prime time" Peter explains and you nod in understanding.

"I spy...Momma!" You hear Nibs say above you and you look up at him curiously before you see him with a green eye patch on with a leaf sword holding it by the stem.

"Well aren't you the pirate." You say with a chuckle before Nibs slices the air with his nature weapon before makeshift leaf sword goes limp in his hand making Nibs lift his eye patch as if in disbelief.

You knew he was actually mocking a pirate who had just broken his weapon so you laughed as did Peter.

You clap in delight before you suddenly hear Slightly yell from above, you turn thinking it's another joke before your eyes go wide in horror.

"Scatter!" You hear Peter yell before he pulls you by the arm taking to the air into the shrubs for cover. The boys climb down the tree's as fast as their feet can carry until you put a hand out halting them in their movements before pointing towards the leaves Nibs had used to make swords.

They get the idea.

Snatching the overgrown leaves from their attached branches they put them over their heads and around their body in order to conceal themselves.

The flying pirate ship above you all coated with pixie dust halts for a moment before continuing on across Neverland.

You and Peter watch with wide eye's before glancing at one another in worry and confusion before you feel Tinkerbell shake on your shoulder. Before you knew it you gasp as Tinkerbell falls off your shoulder with a startled tinkle. You quickly catch her falling form before she hits the ground.
