~Kayla's POV~
It's been a couple weeks since the five had escaped, and now they were walking around a town called Magnolia, their faces and features hidden by navy blue cloaks.

Kayla was walking through the town, her bare feet feeling the cool stone as she walked. Her senses were overwhelmed with new sights, smells, and sounds.

"This place is just bustling with people." April stated, looking around. "We could probably hide here for a while."

"Come on April, it's been weeks. If they wanted to find us that badly they would of done it days ago!" Melody said.

"The delay might just mean that they're waiting for the perfect moment to strike." Voodoo said from under her breath.

"Or they gave up." Melody said, her face deadpan.

"That's what you might think, Ananimal Breath."

"What did you call me Control Freak?"

The two continued to bicker, calling each other names and drawing the attention of some people in the crowd.

"Kayla, why don't you-" Finny looked over at Kayla, seeing the blond haired girl on the ground laughing hysterically. "Right. You're useless in situations like these."

"Tou two better shut it before I shut your mouths for you." April snapped, sending daggers through her narrowed eyes.

"Yes April." They said, fear in their voice, because they knew when the usually shy and timid April snapped at someone, she could end up turning them to stone and never letting them go.

"Now let's see if there's anywhere that has cheap food, Kayla, can you smell anything?" Finny said, looking over at Kayla, who was recovering from her laughing fit, wiping her eyes.

Kayla lifted her head, her nose twitching as she sniffed for food, it was difficult, due to the swirling smells all around her. In a minute or two, she started walking, the others following her.

After a couple steps, she ran into a boy, getting knocked back due to the force the boy ran into her.

"Oh, sorry!" He exclaimed. Helping her up.

"You can be so blind sometimes." A new voice said, causing Kayla to look down, seeing a blue cat.

Kayla looked at him, her nose twitching at his smell. The smell of fire, ash, and dragon. He's a dragon slayer, a Fire Dragon Slayer to be exact. His pink hair spiked and onyx eyes looking at her.

Luckily, he didn't focus on her scent, instead he looked at her and the others behind her.

"You a guild or something?" He asked. "What's with the funny outfits?"

"It's none of your concern." Finny told him sternly.

"That's rude." The pinkette muttered.

"Hey, Fire Brain!" A voice called out. "Why not slow down?"

Kayla looked up to see a boy, no shirt or pants, running up to the Dragon Slayer, the boy smelled like the crisp winter air.

"Why not put some clothes on, Ice Dancer?" The pinkette retorted.

Kayla held back a laugh, they were just like Voodoo and Melody.

A blond haired girl ran up, out of breath. "Man, you two are way to fast." She complained, out of breath, she smelled strange, and if Kayla could name the smell, it would be he smell of stars, maybe a faint hint of metal, but she wasn't sure.

"Sorry Luce." The Dragon Slayer said. Then his nose twitched, he looked at the group with curiosity.

"Finny." Kayla said, worried he would pick out her scent, "Let's go."

Finny recognized the tone of her voice, and nodded. "Let's go, we have some place to get to."

"Right." Everyone else said, turning away and walking.

"Wait!" The Dragon Slayer called out.

"Natsu, don't bother them." The blue haired boy said.

The group didn't stop, instead they all walked a bit faster.

~Natsu's POV~

"That's strange." Natsu muttered to himself.

"What? Five people in matching cloaks hiding any specific features about them? I agree, that's not something you see everyday." The almost naked boy said.

"Put some clothes on Gray." Natsu said, causing Gray to shout in suprise. "Besides. It's not that."

"Than what is it?" Gray asked.

"That girl, she smelled like a storm."

"A storm?" The blond hair girl asked. "How can someone smell like a storm?"

"I don't know Lucy, maybe it's her magic. But there was something more. After they turned to walk away, all of their scents mingled together And I wan't able to tell exactly what her scent was. All I know now is that they're all wizards."

"All of them?" Gray asked.

Natsu nodded. "Yeah." He turned to the three. "And I suggest we follow them, something's not right about them."

"You just want them to join FairyTail, don't you?" The cat asked. "And you're making excuses on why we should follow them."

"Well duh, Happy!" Natsu exclaimed, a grin spreading on his face. "We just have to figure out how!"

"This won't turn out well." Gray muttered with a sigh.

~Kayla's POV~
"What was with that sudden rush?" Voodoo asked.

"That boy was a Dragon Slayer." Kayla said. "He was on to me."

"Really. Do you still smell him?" April asked.

Kayla lifted her head into the air and sniffed, "It's faded." She said. "We need to find somewhere to rest for the night. There's a hill up there with a thick forest. We should be well hidden there."

The others nodded and they started to walk up the hill, and into the forest, Kayla suddenly froze when she felt a tingle in her head. The others obviously felt it too, because they stopped to.

"They found us." April managed to whisper before a roaring pain ran through all of their heads, causing them to all fall to the ground screaming.

The last thing Kayla saw before she passed out was the towering figure of a man all to familiar, her trainer.
