10: the OTHER me

A/N:For those who are not familiar with Negatale, it's an AU created by
ReneesDetermination, based on a nagative emotions/negative colors. She even did a comic series of her AU as well, worth reading. Please check out her Deviantart page for both Negatale content and all her work, it's one of my most favorite AU's. Now back to the story!

Negatale?

What is that even mean? Nega-tive?...

Well I guess I should find out about this "place?"

As i reach for the bluish door handle, I hear a click from the door which makes the door to open.

The door slightly opens revealing a bright light bluish aurora. The door opened wider, Making this aurora glowing brighter. Then it lowers the brightness revealing. . .

Me?!!!!!

But,. . . Blue?! Huh?!!!

This other me came closer. "Hello there, my name is Frisk, well by the looks of it I am Spirit Frisk. You must be the one that made this timeline" They said with a gentle smile.

That word triggered me rapidly! "AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! WILL SOME JUST PLEASE EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME WHAT IS GOING ON!!!"

the other me just did a small giggle of my at my reaction. "Well, I would be gladly to explain. But it's better if we discuss this in MY timeline."

-Negatale

Whoa, almost everthings the same. Except, the whole atmosphere is in a negative tone. All of the mosters are bluish. I guess that includes the me that is inside of me.

"Well Frisk, follow me to Grillby's." The other me said.

I nodded and follow them to the different Grillby's.

We arrived and it slightly looks the same. As we entered, I can feel the warm. Not the scorchingness of the core that I am now used too. It's the warm that welcome you in a safe place and be happy. I miss this feeling.

We both head towards the bar and sit on the stolls. The came greeted by Grillby but his fire was blue. He asked for our orders. The blue me asked for a milkshake, while I ordered a burger. He nodded and went to the back to and started cooking. I looked down while hand on my knees feeling sad.

The blue me notices me and decided to speak in their always calming voice. "Are you alright. You seem more sad, and I mean really sad, not the normal of this timeline."

I sniffed and respond as much as I can "I- I all (sniff) has happened." I told them them everything, from Sans' betrayal to finding to knowing that I will never leave the core.

The blue me patted then rubbed my back on back to confort me. "I'm sorry Core. I have know idea that it all turned out like that."

"Core?" I questioned 

"I'm sorry, Core!Frisk then?" They asked with concern.

"Um? No no, I'm not offended, it's just. Why add core?"

"Hm? Well, we are both the same. I just thought if we and others can to specified us. Since I am from this timeline, you can call me Spirit Frisk or spirit if you like."

I nod in agreement "I understand. So we and others around us can identify the type of us to who directly."

"Exactly."

"Hmm, okay."

It became quiet and then it hit me. How did this frisk became a spirit? I still don't like pushing buttons but they now know myself in this state. I should at least know they ended up like this.

"hey, um, spirit frisk? How did you ended up like this."

". . ." They just stare down on the table. Just silence.

Guilt rushed into me "I- I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. You don't have to explain."

They softly giggle"(sigh) it actually didn't effect me that much. It effected ... someone else deeply."

... "oh"

"Well, me and MY Sans were chased by Chara." Chara? Wait. Aren't they the first human child? They are alive in AU?

"We made our way to Hotland. After Chara confess that HE was the one that pushed me down to the underground, I was furious.  I rushed to confront him. But little did I know that he actually came prepared. He slashed and left me to dead. It devastated Sans that he beated Chara to near death."

I was in full shock! They were actually dead.

"Well, at least I am actually not gone. And because of that, I'm figuring a way to comeback, well as a living." 

"Well at least you got a plan"

They smiled at me and place there hand on top of my grey hair. "We all have to find a way to get back for others. We just have to stay determine."

Determination, that was my based soul. And now it's grey as well, as if I permanently lost myself. I don't know if I still have determination.

(Sniff) Spirit keeps trying to comfort me. "Well look on the bright side. You are not the only one?"

(Sniff)"huh?"

"Well in this universe, I don't reset"

"HUH?!!!!!"

"(Giggling) you see, not alone. And besides, you got yourself into that new place that I still believe that you created."

Oh yeah, I still don't know how I ended up or even created.

"Well, I don't know how. Back in the core, I was like concentrating on thinking I was somewhere else. Somewhere to be alone from all the hurt. Somewhere peaceful. And then, boom, as was at that place."

"Hmm" they place their hand on there chin trying to figure out. "Is it possible that you like ,I don't know, faded or pop up from on place or another?"

"Um? I guess it all happens when I am traumatized, so I know how exactly."

"I recall you said you saw something happened which even though you weren't actually there."

"Um, yeah."

They gently smiling as if they foynd hope. "Well, I guess we have a lot more to discuss."

I nod and agreement. Grillby returned with oir orders. I took a bite of my burger. One taste and all memories flashed back. The thrill, the joy, the adventure. Friends and family. I miss them. I  wonder if they still miss me.

As we ate our meal Spirit Frisk stood up. "Well, it nice to meet you. It's getting beyond late now, I hopw I've helped you enough for today."

"Me too, and thanks. But wait, How do I get back?"

"(Giggling) I belive the sameway as you got to that place. Go ahead, it it worked before, then it should work at all."

I nod so I closed my eyes and concentrate on returning to my room.

I squint my eyes open and I found myself laying on my bed, in my room, in the inn in the core. I think I've found a new ability.
