Chapter 3: The Escape & Meeting Harry
I woke up early and got ready fast I knew today was the day I was going to save my dad, no matter what happened to me I was going to show that he was innocent. It was burly 7:30 a.m. and I went down stairs and Al and Remus where drinking their tee, they notice me, “Ah you’re up early” Remus said, “Well I’m excited for today, I’m going to see Hogwarts” I said winking at Al, he winked back. “Well Remus we’ll out to be going, we will be back sooner than you think” Al said. I hugged Remus and said goodbye, I liked Remus he was like an uncle to me.
We arrived first at Diagon Alley to disguise ourselves, we couldn’t use this potion drink called Poliguise Potion because it would take a month, and I couldn’t wait a month. We got our disguises and we apparated to Azkaban, I told my dad to transform to his animagus form, which is a big black dog, I put him in a leash and we apparated back to London, wow the plan was easier that we thought. My dad said that he has some business to do, so that he can be a free man again, I hugged him and started to cry because I didn’t want him to leave, but he had to fight for his freedom and I understood, we said our goodbyes.
We apparated back to the house and I left running upstairs crying because I didn’t want my dad to leave, I burly found him, but I had to be strong.
It’s been 1 month and some weeks since I help my dad escape from Azkaban and I didn’t even know if he was alive. Well a lot has happen, I found out that Remus was a werewolf so I did something to help him and myself I became an animagus just like my dad, I was a big black dog. Remus hasn’t hurt me but he still wanted me to stay at the Leaky Cauldron. So today I was going to stay at the Leaky Cauldron again, 3 more weeks until school starts. I’ve been practicing a lot of spells, even some that I wasn’t supposed to learn my age, but who cares. The word spread out that “Sirius Black Escape from Azkaban” Remus became more protective than ever since the news, no one knows how he did it, so where all good.
“Bye Remus” I told him while giving him a hug he was trooping me off in Leaky Cauldron
“I know you don’t like this but it’s the best for you” he said knowing me too much already?
“I know” pushing away from the hug and giving him a kiss in the cheek
“Love you” I said
“Love you 2” he said leaving the Leaky Cauldron
Been sitting in my bead, and learning spells for a week in Leaky Cauldron, until I saw Harry, wait what Harry Potter? I said to myself NO way! No but it was him the one and only. I wonder why his here. Well I was walking down the hallway to go to Diagon Alley until I hit someone and I landed in the floor. And I look up and see no one other than Mr. Harry Potter
“OH Sorry, I’m so sorry I didn’t see you” he said helping me up
“Don’t worry it’s not like I got hurt badly” I said
“Ok, well I’m Harry Potter, and you are?” he said smiling holding out his hand
I took it and said “I’m Kathy, Kathy Black” I said smiling
Like everyone else his eyes winded
“Oh so your dad is the one who escape Azkaban?” he said
“Yes that’s him, but don’t hate me, I didn’t know that he was my dad until some days ago, when he escaped” I lied, Al told me I couldn’t tell anyone, and he wanted me to become real close to harry, well like yea because he was somehow related to me.
“Oh don’t worry I wasn’t going to hate you” he said laughing
“Well good because everyone is scared of me” I said in relieve
He started laughing, “Well you seem like a good person to me” he said
I started laughing too, and he was just looking at me all confused
“I’m the worst troublemaker you will ever meet” I managed to say
“Like I’m just basically a really big troublemaker and I do, do bad things but I don’t go all hardcore to like kill people and stuff, unless they hurt me or my family or my friends” I said proudly
“That’s actually good, so like you basically protect the people you love?” he said
“Yea been doing it my entire life” I said, he looked at me for a long time
“So where were you going, before we hit each other” he said after that awkward silence
“Oh um I was heading to Diagon Alley, wanted to check the place out again, to see what’s new, you want to come?” I said
“Yea sure” he said as we walked straight to Diagon Alley, we walked for what it seem like 3 or 4 hours, and I told harry everything from the muggle family I was living with, until Al found me. He seem to be really interested about my life, then he told me about the Doursley’s and I didn’t like of what they were doing to him. He also told me about Voldemort and when he killed his parents, he also told me about Hogwarts and that it was a really good school. “So are you coming to Hogwarts” he asked. “I don’t know, like me and al haven’t really talked about it but yea maybe I will like months later” I said not really knowing what to tell him. “Oh” he said
We came back to the Leaky Cauldron and we said our goodbyes. I took a really nice shower, I don’t know but I really loved the water from here, when I was done I went straight to my bed, I thought about today. Harry seem like a really nice guy that bad things happen to all the time, I feel bad of what he thinks about my dad, but I couldn’t tell him because he wouldn’t believe me. Then I drifted to sleep
