New School.. New Friends

*Shayla's POV*

We get off the bus and I start to walk to the school, it was sooo big! I have never been to such a big school, and I used to live in the richest part of London. I stopped in my tracks and looked in awe.

"what's the matter? Never seen a high school before?"

Some kinda short darkskinned girl said to me. She was about 5'3, dark brown eyes, and her hair was braided. She was kinda cute to be a girl. NO HOMO!

"oh, yea. Well not really. When I was in England I went to private school. I wasn't all that big."

"Well now your in New York. Where everything is big except for the people. " She giggled

"Haha. Your right. The people here are like small little pattes." (a/n; I made that word up so I really don't know if its a real word.∩__∩ ) 

" Pattes?"

"Oh.. sorry. Ahah its small or thin people."

" ohhh. I get it now. haha"

"I'm Shayla, Shayla Sullivan. I just moved here 2 days ago."

"I'm Regina. Regina Nicole. What grade are you in?"

"11th. you?"

"Same. Have you got your schedule yet?"

"Nope. What's a schedule?"

"Poor baby. It tells you what classes your going to be in and what time. and all that good stuff. haha"

"Oh Okay. Wanna help me find the office?" I smiled lightly to myself knowing that I just made another friend. 

"Sure." She smiled big showing all her teeth.

We went into the school. The whole time I was walking with Regina all I could think about was Jacob. Like it the weird? He's cute and all, but I'm tryna stay low for awhile. I mean I just got out of a relationship with Nigel. We were together for 8 years. since 3rd grade. I know sooo young but I just love him. He was my first ill always love him. Nothing and no one could keep us apart. I miss him already... Guess ill have to get over it. Put my eyes in something else like Jacob

"Hey Regina. Can I ask you something?"

"Yea sure."

"Ummm.. Do you know Jacob?"

"Perez?"

"I guess..."

"Curly afro? yea why?"

"Well I met him on the bus this morning and it was kinda weird."

"I know. That's Jacob for you. He was my friend in elementary and 6th grade. we were like brothers and sister, but when we got to the 7th he started to change in to something I really didn't like. He started to get like he is today, and we just stopped talking. Plus I find Emos Scary."

"Yea he is kinda scary. But(gco)"

"No buts. Jacob is an emo. They always scare people and I just don't just don't fuck with them."

"Jacobs not like the others tho. he's nice. and cute" I kinda whispered the last part hoping that she didn't hear me

"Ewww Shayla you like him!!!!"

"Nooo I don't.." I kinda blushed. "Well anyways are we there yet?"

" Oh yea we've been standing in front of the office for about a good 15 minutes talking."

"Oh I feel slow."

"You'll get used to it especially with me." She laughed

"Whatever." I laughed
