I feel like a total slut now... I am in love with one guy and was on the verge of having sex with another. The phone call saved the day. But it made things really awkward. I felt so ashamed of myself and the state I was in that I didnt wait for Harsh to finish the call. 

Once i was back in my cubicle I couldnt help feeling this hollownes inside me. When did I turn this desperate for sex or companionship. I was cursing myself for what happened. This just felt cheap. I was so lost in my own world that I didnt hear Harsh enter the office.

'Jeeva, stop killing yourself over this.'

I looked up at him to see only concern in his face. He was a good friend no matter what transpired between us.

'Nah! Dont worry... I will get over this by Monday.'

'Ha! That reminded me... I heard that you decided to go to Chennai yourself for a meeting with the clients instead of sending one of the junior staff... Hmmm.. Does this have something to do with the broken hearted gentleman I have heard so much about?'

'This has nothing to do with him.. The wedding is one of our most important projects and the clients are prominent citizens. So as the senior executive of this company I thought it would be only fair if I go down to Chennai to meet the bride.. '

'Who are u trying to fool? Me or yourself? So are u going to seduce him this time with your sexy body?'

'Oh shut up!! He is too hung over his ex to even see me.'

'Well he hasn't seen you since high school right? So blow his mind!'

'So take a day off.. Spruce yourself up, do some shopping etc and leave for Chennai with a mission... I will not be here when you return. But when I do come back we'll talk and if needed continue our lessons..'

He gave me a hard kiss on my lips, squeezed my breasts once and walked out of the ofice with a wink. A dramatic exit.. I guess he is one character I would never understand.
