Okay, so before you guys start killing me, I'd like to explain why exactly I don't support this ship. Karin is one of my favorite characters, and I can relate to her the most out of all the characters in Shippuden. But, no, just because I like her doesn't mean I'll ship her with every guys she likes (coughs, sasugay)

Personally, I understand where sasukarin fans are coming from, and I know the arguments they use the most. That "sakura's love is obsessive and superficial" and apparently "Karin's love is SELFLESS".

First of all, how is Karin's love not superficial? In my opinion, most "crushes" start out superficial. Karin is no exception, she's been obsessing over his looks since Team Taka. Sure, she did have a "moment" with him during the Chunin exams, but that doesn't mitigate her borderline insane "love" for him. I don't think you'd call keeping someone's sweaty shirt and acting obsessive over it as true love. Karin has a crush on Sasuke, but I don't think anything she felt for him was more than a strong attraction. Her shipping of Sakura and Sasuke later in their relationship proves this.

Second, we all know that Sakura started out as an immature little girl who admired Sasuke and obsessed over him like all his other fan girls. But what about the moments they shared? They actually have a history together, before Sasuke went on his obsession for revenge. They spent so much time together, and personally it's impossible to say that Sasuke didn't even feel friendship for her during those days. Also THIS:

Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto all share a special bond, but in this case that bond between Sasuke and Sakura is so much more than just teammates. Sasuke usually isn't a person to reveal his feelings, but if you read Naruto Gaiden, Sasuke Shiden, and what's mentioned above Akatsuki Hiden, there's a lot more relationship development there.

Also, another fact that pisses me off SOOOO MUCHH, is that sasukarin shippers insist that Sarada is Karin's kid. So what if she has the same glasses? That doesn't make them biologically mother and father! Karin herself stated that she helped to deliver Sarada from Sakura. Sakura and Sasuke travelled together alone for a short period of time. You can't just dismiss that they didn't do "anything" there. I mean she's his wife, okay?

Plus, even if she was Karin's kid, she has an emotional attachment to Sakura that far exceeds her "possible" biological relationship to Karin. Like Sasuke and Sakura both state in Naruto Gaiden, they have that relationship bond that's special to THEIR FAMILY ONLY because of sarada. It doesn't matter, tbh, who's kid it was, because like Naruto said, it's the emotional bond that matters.

Sakura also, how is her love obsessive? She obsessed over him as a kid, yeah, but how about character development? She's grown to love him over the years, and she yearns to save him. Karin just wants sasuke's approval on everything, and I believe that her turning point was when Sasuke actually tried to kill her. If she really loved him, she wouldn't be so oblivious towards sasuke's coldness and inability to show any love during his search for revenge. She never stopped him, she never did what was good for him.
