Friendships, are vulnerabilities. They open possible means for an otherwise easily thwarted courier of pain. The friend is the weakpoint, both a fulcrum for malintent and a possible traitor of judgement. One might inquire why have such a thing if it lacks the capacity to contain any good thing. The scales to have a friend seem weighted, and purport only warnings against the danger as such an act of befriending someone. One must remember that valuable things are beyond the measurement of any earthly scale, and cannot be crushed, suppressed, and contained in a system of measurement, because they are their own system. Therefore valuable things are worth all earthly costs, being molded out of materials so high, that earthly things are not even aware those materials exist.
