The broken man

"Order up" came a voice from the kitchen. "Do you want me to take it or do you" asked Maria. "You just want to flirt with them don't you" stated Josephine. " fine you got me, put in a good word for me will you" asked maria. " fine I'll give you Dean". " Deans a nice name" Maria said getting a little distracted. "Hey wake up your on the job" Jokingly said Josephine.

Walking over to the boys with the food she quickly let them be mainly because you didn't want to deal with the flirting. Once they had finished Josephine went over and mentioned Maria and Dean seemed pretty happy with Maria's looks and went to go talk to her. "Hey you got him off you good job" said the taller one.

"yeah well I'm pretty good at that" she said jokingly. " hey sorry about running you over earlier should have been playing more attention". "Honestly no big deal" he said. "I'm Sam by the way" he continued. "Josephine" .

"Oh here's your bill and have a nice night" ."Thanks and you too" Sam replied with a smile. Both of you seeing Maria and Dean leave knew what was going to happen.

"Crap looks like I'm walking" Sam said with a tone of annoyance. "No your not there leaving in Maria's car" Josephine replied. " thank god it was going to be a long walk for me" Sam replied

Two hours had past by and it was almost time to close up Josephine and sam had been talking the hole two hours "He seemed like a nice guy but then again she wasn't the best at picking them". " nice talking to but I should be going"Sam said interrupting her thoughts. She watched him leave and saw him turn around before he walked out of the diner.

Thirty minutes had past and both of the cooks were already gone so it was just her and her thoughts in an empty parking lot.

Only a few minutes went by Intel she started thinking about the stranger named Sam. " God why did he have to be so cute and nice" she said to herself. "I'm never even going to see him again so I shouldn't bother myself by thinking about him" she continued getting into her car.

Trying to distract herself she turned on the radio but the only good song on was heat of the moment. "Really this song" she said turning the radio off. Looking at the clock she saw that only thirty minutes had past. "I still have an hour left" Josephine mumble. "I really need to live closer to work" she continued.

Seeing a broken down car on the side of the road and a man slumped up against it she decided to poll over and help. "I mean what's the worst thing that could happen I get murdered" she said jokingly.

Getting out of the car she shouted " do you need some help". The man didn't respond just slowly turned his head and then she saw it and she could feel the fear building up.
