Once the sun had set, they started walking back to the shed. Neither of them wanted to go home, that was a mutual understanding. Josh reached over slowly and took Tyler's hand in his, keeping him close. The forest protected them, of course, but they didn't know what other danger lay in it. They took careful steps over small twigs and branches that laid in their way as they focused on the destination ahead of them. The route back was long, but worth it. Tyler started to hum softly with each step they took, and it made Josh's heart flutter. His voice was so beautiful...
"Josh?" Tyler looked up to him, his gaze was soft and loving.
"Yes, Petal?" He smiled.
"Please don't ever leave me..." Tears started to fill his eyes, making Josh kneel down, eye-level to him. Josh held Tyler's chin up, and looked into his eyes.
"I could never even dream of it...You're my everything."
The gentle words that fell from Josh's soft, kissable lips made Tyler smile.
Josh stood back up, and gave Tyler's hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze, just like the one Tyler always gave him before Josh entered his house.

They finally made it back to their shed-settlement, and were cuddling on the make-shift mound of pillows and blankets they called a bed. The shed was quite big, about the size of a one story, one bedroom house.
"I wonder if we could fix this place up..." Tyler mumbled and ran his fingers over the split wood.
"Honestly.. it's possible..." Josh started to analyze the wood as well, mentally making plans for the place, day dreaming about coming home late and having Tyler there, waiting for him.
"Let's do it," Josh said finally, which led to Tyler squealing.
Josh held Tyler close, listening to the sounds of the forest, breathing the wood stained air, until their breaths grew slower and the eyelids grew heavy, pulling them into sleep.
-------------------------------------
Josh woke up first, Tyler still asleep. He got up and replaced himself in Tyler's arms with his pillow. He walked outside and stretched his arms, the morning breeze brushing against his face. The birds chirped all around him, flying from tree to tree. He felt at home, whether it was when he held Tyler in his arms, or knowing that he could actually have a future, and a family. He sat down, and with a stick he started to draw out what he could do with the shed. His dad had a bunch of wood and tools leftover from when they built their house. He  never threw those out, just in case of emergency. He started to draw where the kitchen would be, then the bedrooms. He added a guest bedroom as well. He kept drawing out ideas, erasing them with the dirt and changing them around until he got a good idea of what he wanted to do. Ty walked out, holding a blanket in one arm, and rubbing his eyes sleepily with the other.
"Joshie?"
"Yes, Petal?" Josh smiled, and looked over to him
Tyler didn't answer, he just walked over and sat down by the other boy, and rested his head on Josh's shoulder, analyzing what Josh had been doing in the dirt.
"Are we gonna start today?" Tyler looked up at him.
"Do you want to?" Josh replied.
"Yes please," he whimpered a bit, which caused Josh to hold him closer.
"Well, we should go back to our parents, pack everything, shower and anything else, then meet back up here"
Tyler nodded his head in agreement.
Josh got up slowly and stretched his legs. He walked back into the shed and pulled out a brush he packed earlier, and ran it through his greasy hair. He quickly pulled on his shoes, said goodbye to Tyler, and started making his way back to the house. He really dreaded seeing his parents, but they probably didn't even notice that Josh left. Each step he took he whispered to himself, "I'm bigger than my anxiety." And, "Tyler needs you."
