"Where are they?" I asks, frequently.

"At the station, now one child had been completely fine, the younger but tho older, she's a bit... paranoid," he says.

"What do you mean?" I ask, confused.

"She was abused to save the younger one, her brother. She took the beatings," he says. I knew I had to go and get them, no childern should be alone. I have to adopted them, take them in. Soon Grant comes over and sees the policeman.

"Evening sir, something wrong?" Grant asks warpping his arm around my waist.

"Officer this is my finance," I say quiet.

"Nice to meet you, will you come down to get them? Casuse if not, they'll go to an orphanage," says the officer.

"No, no, I'll take them," I say stubborn. He nods and leaves.

"What happen, Lilac?" Asks Grant as everyone starts to gather round to hear what happen.

"My uncle, his wife was arrested for abusing one of their kids, so they have no one. But me," I say. Everyone had sad looks. "So I'm taking them, Grant, we could talke them in, you were mentioning kids and lets be honest I'm literally just turn 21, and giving these kids a home, I can give them what my family gave me," I say looking at Dad and Mom who smiled at my speech.

"What are you waiting for? Lets go get them," says Grant.

"But the place is a mess," I say looking around.

"We'll take care of the house, you just go get those kids," smiles Dad. I nod and with that we drive to the police station. My heart was beating fast and I couldn't help but wobder what they would look like. Like their mom? Like their dad? Mixture? I hope they liked me, God what if I fuck up?

"Hey Lilac you wouldn't fuck up," says Grant comforting.

"Did I say that out loud?" I ask.

"Yea...hey they'll love you, you're great," says Grant taking my hand. I smile feeling a bit better but the anxiety was getting to me. "You'll be a great mom cousin person," says Grant confusing himself. I laugh, making him smile at me.
We pull up to the station and this pit feeling in my stomach and gut was awful, I got nervous. God what if I wasn't ready and I'm taking on too much at the moment, Lilac, these kids need you as much as you need them. I take a deep breathe and get out along with Grant, I stand frozen starring at the police station. I hated him, absolutely hated them.

"Hey you want me to wait out here," asks Grant comforting me by rubbing my shoulder as I was tense as hell. I nod and get the courage and I walk in, I walk up the officer who stood at the desk.

"What can I help you with?" She asks.

"I'm here for Jonathan Smith's kids, I'm their cousin, Lilac Ackles," I say. I am still not use to people calling me by Ackles, but soon it will be Gustin.

"Oh yes the Smith case, the childern are in a back room right down the hall," she says pointing down. I nod and go the way she to go. I reach the door and open in, there sat two childern. A small 5 year old 6 with brown caramel, not like uncle Jared's but like a oaky spring caramel color in the sun during mid spring. His beautiful green eyes like the leaves in a forest and they had this innocent aura to them, he was coloring and avoiding eye contact with anyone in the room expect his sister who sat right next to him. Now whereas he had brown hair, her hair was a natural strawberry blonde color that looked ginger in the lighting, much like Holland's. Holland's mini...

Her eyes were a beautiful hazel blue color. She was gently talking to the boy whispering smoothing words to him, I wish I had someone like that when I was at the orphanage. Well I kinda had Scar, but you know what I mean! My older sister, who was adopted by my birth mom died young of cancer. "Mrs Ackles," the officer from earlier walks up to me. "Please meet Miles and Cheryl Smith," he says. Both childern look up at me, I see the tears in Cheryl's eyes. The bruises noticeable, her eyes held so much pain and sorrow I just wanted to hug her and never let go of her. She was broken and I saw through her.

"Children meet your cousin, Lilac Ackles," he says.

Miles gasps and bounces up like a child on Christmas. "You're her! You're her!" He chants over and over again smiling.

"Miles, sit down," scolds Cheryl which makes me chuckle.

"Its okay," I reassure her making her blush embrassed and look down.

"You're the Flash's girlfriend aren't you?!? And you were in Awies in whe Attic," he smiles brightly at me, Cheryl glances from beneath her hair to look me.

"I am, but me and I gues you say 'The Flash' are engaged and we as a couple and family are adopting you and Cheryl," I smile softy as he sequels saying the Flash is gonna be his new daddy. Oh boy was Grant in for a surprise, I smile thinking to myself.

"Why?" Asks Cheryl.

"Because we're family and that's what family does," I say.

"But you aren't blood related to us, your mom was dad's adopted sister," she says.

"Yes to me and my new family who I found were my God family, family doesn't end with blood and right now, you guys mean so much to me. No one took me in when I lost my parents, not even your mom or dad cause they couldn't. And I spent my years in a orphanage thinking no one was gonna want me until Jensen came around, and I don't you guys having to go through the pain I went through at an ophanage," I say. Cheryl had tears in her eyes, they were all glossy and sad looking at me...
