Bad boy goes good part 2

I fall asleep in his arms on the couch. Then at about 6:00am I hear police cars driving by. Then the next thing I see are red and blue headlights in front of my house. I hear a banging on the door. "Ms. Y/N this is NYPD we need to see you." I get up and open the door. "Is there a problem officer?" He looks at me and nods. "You have custody of a mental patient going by the title of Lucas Dobre Mofid. You are not in any trouble and neither is he. We just need you and him to follow us to the police department." I nod and tell him to give us approximately five minutes. I run inside and get Lucas. "Lucas listen. The cops are here but not to hurt only to help. So I need you to follow me." He nods and takes my hand. His mind is oblivious to this situation so it was slightly easier to lure him to the car. We get to the station and he immediately panics. He starts scratching the seats and getting really fidgety and antsy. "Lucas calm down. Remember, don't touch guns only touch me." We came up with that phrase while we were "chillin" at my place. It helps him calm down and think about me. "You really have a strong effect on him Y/N. He doesn't look calm until he's with you. You're something special Y/N. I really hope you know that." I smile and thank the officer. I take Lucas out if the car and we head into the building. Once we get in the room I talk to the lady who's in charge of the New York Custody Program (NYCP) and tell her to put security guards outside the door. She does so and comes back in with papers. "Ms. Y/N, I know you are very fond of Lucas Dobre Mofid and he hasn't seemed to be getting any better at the mental asylum or by teachers, counseling, parole, family, et cetera. But you darling are the only thing that we know of so far that has helped him. We love that he's getting better so we would like for you to hold him in your custody. He doesn't necessarily become your child once you sign these papers, but you do become another one of his legal guardians. Now he can still date you or whatever but he'll just be living with you. Are you okay with this?" I look at the papers and consider everything she just said. "But ma'm, you see, I'm still in school and I only have a large townhouse. How would I take care of another human being?" She nods and brings out another paper. "According to the government they will pay support with 30,000 dollars per month and 100 as you need it. Plus you are over 18 within the next two days so we allow it." I think about it and then look at Lucas. "Lucas what do you think?" He looks up from his hands. "So I'm gonna live with you?" His face lightens up. I nod and he jumps up. The lady first gets scared but he then hugs me and spins me around. "Yes! I'm moving in with you!!!" He puts me down and I nod. I sign everything and thank the lady. I then leave the room to see the Dobre family. Aurelia sees me and so does Boz and they come up and hug me so much. They start to tear up and thank me. "You don't understand, Y/N. He wouldn't eat for days and he would lock himself in his room. He would go violent it was scary. But you've helped him. Thank you so so much." I hug them once more and see Lucas standing still. His brothers look scared but Marcus looks terrified. It's scary to see a twin scared if his other half. Lucas looks at him and then does the unthinkable. He pulls Marcus in for the strongest hug I've ever seen. He starts crying on his shoulder and soon Cyrus and Darius join them.

"And that is how daddy and I got together sweetie!" She smiles back up at me with her ringlets hanging down. It's her first day of school and she's so excited. I finish making the eggs for her breakfast and my lunch. "So you and daddy met because he was crazy?" I turned to her and chuckled. Then Lucas came down in his suit. He became a mental health therapist. "Don't worry sweets, mommy likes crazy every now and then." He winks at me and gets his coffee. "Doesn't mommy work with crazy people?" I walk over to the island. She was referring to my job. I'm a mental health Doctor. "No mommy doesn't work with crazy people. She works with people who deserve second chances in society." She smiles big. "So you help people get second chances so they can help other people get second chances too?" I nod. "Then I want to become just like you!" Lucas and I laugh at that. I truly love life and think that other people who have a disorder deserve a second chance should be able to deserve it too.
