Well that's what there're telling anyone who would listen.
But it's not, is it?
My father often talks about the idealist youth.
But the people of our generation is not idealist are they?
They are all dead.
I reread your reports from the front line, I find it hard to believe it, any of it. But that just makes it worse, because those monstrosities did happen, and there are now millions of young men who have had their idealist brains blown out and are lying in some French field, were the blood runs rivets through the mire.
