Chapter 8

Nikki POV

Chaeyeon won! I walked over to her to congratulate her, I looked at Jennie who seems bitter about it.. as I walked back to my seat, minding own business I felt someone staring at me which made me look.. I quickly looked to the person on the left and met two pairs of eyes that were.. beautiful.. Jung Jaehyun his eyes met mine, he smiled and gave me a thumbs up, I returned a smiled and turned around to the teacher.. but I started to think about what happened earlier..

EARLIER

We left Mr Junmyeon's office and headed back to class "Im going to the restroom who's coming?" Jisoo asked "ME!" Rose & Lisa both say "Niks are you coming?" Lisa asks, I shake my head in response "Okay well we'll meet you in class then!" they say and waved and I did the same.
Walking alone the hallway taking my time, I decided to go the the empty music room, suddenly I hear someone whispering my name. "Nikki... Do Nikki!" I turned around to look at no one.. slowly becoming scared I started walking twice faster not noticing that I already passed the music room.. "Do Nikki! wait up!" someone says, I hear their footstep becoming closer I walked triple speed at this point. "Yah! Nikki wait!" I hear the person ran faster I turned around and got startled as whoever was just following me hit their head on mine. "OW! what the!" I say while standing up holding my hands to my head to reduce the pain, I opened my eyes seeing a tall muscular guy laying flat on the ground feeling his head. "YAH! That hurt!" He says trying to stand up "Its your fault... who bumps their head on another peeople" I roll my eyes "HEY! I called you! and you just kept on walking... you deaf or something?" he argues back "You expect me to know you?" I scoff "I dont even know you." I spat back. He pouted and raised his hands asking me to help him up. "Help me up so I can introduce my self" I felt sorry so I decided to help him up, he grabbed my hand and pulled him HE'S SO HEAVY , so heavy that I fell.. ON TOP OF HIM we stared at each other for a second and I immediately push my self off him. He got up and scratch his head.. A W K W A R D

Both of us started walking to class in peaceful silence until he interrupted "Where were you off to?" he asked "Music room, I didn't want to go to class yet because knowing the girls will take a billion years to get out of the restroom." I respond and he chuckles & he shakes his head, he then started asking me questions. "you know.. you're completely opposite to Doyoung and Jisung" he giggles, I raised my eyebrow "Different? How?" He continues to giggle "Well they're more...." he paused "More???? WHAT???" I questioned "More crazy.." that got me laughing. "oh you don't know what i'm like at home" I giggled and wink at him. ew.. why did I do that.

A couple of steps later he starts talking "oh right!I forgot to ask but Nikki.. how close are you with.. Ch- Chae- Chaeyeon?" he stared at me with hopeful eyes, mentioning Chaeyeon surprised me. "Yes. we're very close.."I look at him and he just looks back at me with the cutest eye smile making his dimples visible. "Why? Do you like her?" I asked " Well... uhm she's pretty... REALLY pretty." He replies as he looks at the floor fiddling with his hands, I stared at him noticing his cheeks turning brightly pink I rolled my eyes and released a soft giggle "well i'm guessing that's a yes." saying that made his cheeks even more flushed, "So.. what's the plan?" he turns his head with a shocked reaction "You're gonna help me?!!" bruh. "Isn't that what you were gonna ask me?" I respond, he nervously giggles and scratches his head "Well yeah. Thats why I talked to you in the first place." him saying that made my heart.. ache.

We continued walking, nearly stepping in the class room I stopped him before he walks to class making us stop at the glass door "Wait.. I thought you were going to introduce yourself?" I spoke, he then suddenly pauses and bows "My name is Jung Jaehyun" he puts his hand out to shake mine "Jung Jaehyun? You two must be MTB" I wiggled my eyebrows while he looks at me confusingly. "MTB? Whats that?" he looked at me unknowingly, "MTB is an acronym for Meant To Be" I replied "ohh right.. thanks but how are me and Chaeyeon meant to be?" he asks shyly.. cute. "Well you're a Jung and she's also a Jung, Jung Chaeyeon" he gasps in shock "REALLY? WAH WE REALLY ARE MEANT TO BE!" he says with his mouth open from shock, "anyways tell me the plan.. if you have one." I say, he suddenly jumps in joy and embraces me. His arms wrapped is around me.. with his sudden action my body instantly froze and could only hear my heart beating fast. Noticing with the corner of my eye everyone in the class were looking at us teasingly.

He lets go of our hug and opens the door waiting for me to go in fisrt, I nervously go in knowing that the class would tease us. Everyone was eyeing us with really.. creepy looks. "YAAAAAA JUNG JAEHYUN!" this guy suddenly hugs Jaehyun, I look at his name tag and it read Nakamoto Yuta, must be one of the members of NCT. "guys! me and Nikki just met, we're friends.. dont think about it" Jaehyun says. I noticed him looking at Chaeyeon secretly but unfortunately Chaeyeon was scrolling on her phone paying no attention. Jung Chaeyeon why do you get everything? sigh...

The class had eventually calmed down after thinking of what our ship was going to be, they all agreed on Jikki.. WHAT THE?! we sat down just chilling waiting for the teacher to come, I suddenly felt a buzz on my phone and decided to check it.

Chaeyeoni ♡: FINALLY UNNIE! JUNG JAEHYUN? CONGRATS~

Jung Chaeyeon.. he will be yours soon.

CURRENT

Why am I getting fussed all of a sudden? I looked around and everyone seemed to be on their phone so I grabbed mine. Scrolling through instagram, Doyoung ♡ suddenly pops up in my notification.

Doyoung ♡: yo noona I need to ask you something~

Nikki: Yah Do Doyoung you know you can talk to me IN REAL LIFE we're in the same class -_-

Doyoung ♡: nah im too lazy, anyways the boys want your number.. they think you're really pretty~~~

Nikki: No.

Doyoung ♡: too late.. sorry noona~
