Chapter 11

"Everyone please gather around!" Mr Suho yelled gaining everyone's attention. One by one students arrived and stood around the Principal. I looked around the people standing noticing their astonishing emotions, the boys were delighted for next to them stood tall and pretty, Ms Tiffany meanwhile most girls were tired and sleepy. Mr Suho took a step "Each of you are going to accomplish the activities in groups" The Principal took a deep breath before resuming.

Chaeyeon's POV

The girls and I found a spot distant to the camp base, we set out the spot and settled down."So what are your thoughts on your groups?" I ask the girls and they respond with a shrug. "Uhmm It's fine I guess... but it would have been great if Taeyong was in my group." Jasmine pouted.

"Geez this girl is literally obsessed with Taeyong. Jasmine wanna swap?" Jennie spoke which made everyone perk up and look at her "Woahhh you really do despise him" Nikki commented "Very much." Jennie added "may I ask why?" Irene speaks up and all eyes were on Jennie waiting for her to answer. "UNNIE!!! I CANT TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" Lisa cries out which surprised everyone, "WE NEED TO KNOW WHY!" she continued.

Jennie looked at her in guilt. Seems like she needs to tell the truth... "w-well um.. I dont know... he just makes me want to hate him." Jennie sighed.

I noticed Nikki who looks unsatisfied with Jennie's reason "Unnie don't get mad or anything but...." Nikki looked at Jennie and hesitated on continuing after making eye contact with her, Jennie raised her eyebrow Scarlett stood up and sat down next to Jennie. "but... do you actually hate him?" she asks the question made everyone gasp, "W-what do you mean Scarlett?" Jennie stuttered "I dont know it just seem theres a connection between them two" she pauses and I notice her getting anxious not knowing Jennie's thoughts, the silent tension broke when Jennie spoke "spit it out Scarlett." Jennie commands.  Scarlett's eyes expanded after hearing Jennie "A-ani, It's just.. I noticed everytime he annoys you, you push him away but I can tell your enjoying the attention." she spoke calmly.

In the midst of our very interesting conversation, a handful of boys approached and asked for the girls whom are part of their group to help set up the tents, the girls left to join their groups and the remaining girls were Me, Nikki, Jennie and Rose so we remained seated. "Is it true?" Rose asked "whats true??" Jennie looked at her. "you know... what Scarlett said." Rose spoke carefully. Nikki and I made an eye contact, both knowing that there is something Jennie hasn't opened to us about. "Jennie-ah~ What is it.... you know you can tell us" Nikki moved next to Jennie rubbing her arm for comfort, we quietly anticipated for her response but she stood up and started walking away so we followed her, once we reached the river she sat down on a log. This is so not the Jennie we have as a friend. 

We sat down next to her and watched her eyes follow the waves of the river. "I have no idea on how Scarlett came up with that theory." we were shocked of Jennie's sudden words "Are they true tho?... her theories?" Nikki gained courage to talk. Jennie lifted her head and sat straight "I have a question...." we all looked at her, she continues "What did you think the reasons were for our sudden move in this town?" REASONSS?! I felt her anticipation on Me and especially Nikki for we met her earlier than Rose. I tried gaining confidence and cleared my throat... "Well family problems?" Nikki sat right up "Yeah thats what i thought too Since... you arrived in the town with only your mum and Jackson oppa.." Jennie started tapping her knee "Why Jennie, is there a different reason?" Rose asks Jennie was on the edge of speaking suddenly my phone rings "Its Jackson oppa" I answered the call 'Yes?' 'Oh Hi Chaeyeon' I placed the phone on the log next to Jennie on Speaker "can you tell Jennie to come the the base camp mum wants to speak to her"  "Yeah got that..She'll be there soon" phone call ends, we all stood up and started walking back. 

We almost reached the camp, Doyoung came running towards us, Jennie continued on walking while me Nikki and Rose paused "Nikki Nikki Nikki Nikki someone wants to talk to you" Doyoung says trying to catch his breath "uhh who?" Nikki asks, Doyoung looks at me then to Rose "Taeyong hyung.." looking at each other trying our very best not to smile "Why?" Nikki asks "I dont know just go.. he said he'll wait over there" Doyoung points towards the river, Me and Rose started walking ahead leaving Doyoung and Nikki alone "Yahhhhh Nikki's getting all of the guys~" Rose says while laughing "HAHAHAH I know right! First Jaehyun now Taeyong you go Nikki!" Me and Rose laughed our way back to the camp.

I walked to my tent I saw Jaehyun who was holding a tray of snacks for the teachers, He suddenly stops and looked right to my eyes, flashing his deep dimples. He shook his head and walks off. Goshhhh, that was really cute—wait no thats Nikki's man what am I doing?! I shook the thoughts off and took sat down to wait for Scarlett.

Jaehyun's POV

What just happened... did I just do that? My hands wont stop shaking! I walked towards the camp with my trembling hands, trying not to drop the food. "Hey Jaehyun are you okay?" I turn around to see Mr Myungsoo coming up to help me. "U-uh Im okay sir! dont worry!" I reply and continue walking... IM NOT FINE AT ALL! I need to tell Nikki about this!
