Denis POV:
I look down at my fidgeting hands as I wait for the results on Isabella. Doctors just go left and right with patients young and old. Ok, I have to do something. I've just been sitting here for an hour not eating or moving whatsoever. I go to the hospital cafeteria to get my mind off what happened. I put all my food in a tray and sit down. Since the rest of the food is disgusting, I just eat a limp fry. I'm pretty sure Isabella has a friend that could come, but I don't know who.

I immediately grab my phone out of my pocket and call her.
"Hello", she asks from across the line.
"Hey".
"Look Denis, I'm not going to listen to you talk crap about me. I'm sick and tired of your abuse", she yells through the phone. My heart just sank.
"Adriana, not right now. I need you at the hospital with Isabella, now", I say.
"Oh my god I'm on my way. Bye", she then hangs up. I put my phone down as I eat another limp fry. I try not to make a disgusted face as the lunch ladies glare at me. As the lunch ladies are busy with other people, I run to the garbage can, throw my meal away, and run out. I get back to my seat and sit there for like 5 minutes until a doctor speaks up.
"Anyone here for Isabella", she asks. I stand up.
"Oh just you! Anyways, Isabella is doing good. The cuts are deep, which led to a bunch of blood spilling out, but other than that, she's fine. She will be asleep though due to all the loss of blood", she says. I let out a sigh of relief. I'm so glad she's okay.
"You can go see her if you want", she says interrupting my thoughts.
"Oh thank you". She just nods then I walk away. Once I reach her room, I see her lying there like an angel. She has bandages all over her body but that's it. I grab her hand and just stand there.
"I can't believe the way I've treated you since. I thought it was all a joke, until Adriana came up to me and slapped me into reality. You are such a great person. You actually have stopped me from cutting the first time I saw you. When I saw your mother hurting you, I was so scared. I thought I would lose you. I just want to say one thing before I leave you in sleep. Isabella...you are a puzzle piece to my life".
