Morgues pov
Today as I woke up I had this warm feeling inside. I couldn't put my finger in it but I knew at I couldn't stop thinking of that girl I meet yesterday at the bookstore I couldn't think of her name but I knew she was perfect. Was i in love? I asked myself cause all I could think about is her and how beautiful she is and how much I wanted to see her again. So I got ready for work today was Friday I have work today, Saturday, and Sunday. I love working at the freakshow it gives me a place where I can be me and not be judge for being who I am. I got to think of what's acts I'm going to do today I know Grady's back in town maybe I can ask him what I should do. He's seen what I can do a billions of times. So I decided to call Grady and see what I should do
" hey morgue what's happening" Grady said answering the phone
" hey Grady I was wondering what act should I do today" I asked curiously
" I think you sound do the water regurgitation, bed of razor blades and the syph and the meat hooks." Grady exclaimed " those are my personal favorites"
"Thanks man I was having trouble deciding what act to do today" I exclaimed
"No problem man anytime" Grady said
After that I got in the shower and then got ready for the day I decided to wear my white button down shirt and my fedora and then I grabbed my stuff for my acts that are at home and grabbed my black umbrella and my sunglasses and left for work. When I got to work I while we were setting things up for the shows coming up I saw the beauty I could not get out of my mind and then I saw that she was coming here, but we're not ready for people to start coming in what is she doing and who is that with her. My mind kept asking millions of questions. Then I decided to follow her secretly to see what she was doing. Wait does she have a job interview. I overheard her talking to tod and this is what I heard
" hi I'm Todd Ray and you two are" tod said happily
" I'm Sam and this is Maggie her mom set up an interview for us" she said so beautiful
" ah yes I remember that" Todd said happily
" me and Maggie have separate things we do and then we have something we do together" she said again. all I could think about was how beautiful she is I wanted to talk to her again but I was so scared because I don't know how she feels about e me so I waited till she was done with the interview
Meanwhile after the interview
WAIT shes just like me shes a sword swallower I CAN'T BELIEVE IT and she can throw knives thats pretty hot
"Hey sam" i said nervously
" oh hi morgue i didnt know you worked here" she said happily
" yeah i work here as a shock artist"I said trying not to freak out
" well that's pretty cool what type of stuff do you do" she said very interested
" well I do regurgitation acts and sword swallowing and I swallow a Syph and I swallow billiard balls and I take this saw and put a cigarette on my tongue and light it with a saw and then I lay on a bed of razor blades and I do Hunan pin cushion and I take a drill and drill up my nose, Finaly I take meat hooks and put them up my nose and the other one in my mouth where they come out my mouth and my nose it's pretty cool I took me 2 years to stretch the cartalege in my skull to be able to do that." I explained
" that's really cool" she said" hey when do you have your next show"
" I have my next show in about an hour" I said
When I said that Jessa came in
" hey morgue" Jessa said
" hey Jessa" I said back
Then she came to me and whispered
" who's the girl dressed cool" Jessa said
" that's Sam she came for an interview" I said trying not to give off that I like her " hey do you know when Grady is getting here"
" I don't know should be soon" Jessa said " he's staying at todd's you know"
" yeah I knew that i just wanted to know cause I'm doing his favorite acts today" I said
" oh cool that will make his time here more enjoyable" Jessa said
As me and Jessa were talking Matt and alie and George got here at the same time and came in
" hey guys I want you to meet our potential new co-workers Sam and Maggie" I said introducing them to the family ( by family I mean freakshow family) " this is Jessa the bearded lady, and these two wonderful little people are Matt and allie and this is George bell the giant" I said introducing them
" hey Todd is Phoenix bringing Grady" I said curiously
" I think so why.." Todd exclaimed
" I'm just excited to see him" I said happily
Later that day
" hey Danielle has morgue seemed different to you today he seems a lot more jittery and so not like himself" Todd said talking to his wife
" yeah he is maybe we can get Asia to talk to him I know their good friends" Danielle said talking to Todd
" yeah hey Asia can you come here for a minute" Todd said calling for his daughter Asia
" yeah be right there" Asia replied " yeah dad what do you need"
" have you noticed anything different about morgue today he seems a lot more jittery and weird" Todd said
" yeah I have noticed something different about him" Asia said
" we are curious as to why he is acting this way and was wondering if you could talk to him and see what is going on" told said to Asia
" ok I would live to do that I love talking to morgue" Asia exclaimed
Later that evening
" hey morgue and Grady" Asia said talking to morgue and Grady" hey Grady can you give me an morgue a couple of mins to talk"
" sure" Grady exclaimed
" um may I ask why you are wanting to talk with me alone" morgue asked Asia curiously
" well a handful of us here have noticed that you have been acting different today and I just wanted to know why you are acting diffrent" Asia asked
" well i think I fell in love yesterday and at first I thought I lost her but it turns out that she's going to be working here" I said happily
" oh that's amazing i hope yall work out if yall end up together" asia said a little jealous cause she has had a crush on morgue for years
"Thanks asia thank you for being understanding" I said happy
After all that the shows were over and I went home and hung out alone working one my books and research and stuff I was getting really tired and then I went to bed
