Chapter 2- ♡Colin's First Day♡

*Colins POV*

"I know this land well. I can guide you-"

I feel the knife dig into my throat as Jen grabs me from behind, interrupting my sentence.

"You're not going to guide us anywhere until you tell us who you really are." Jen says powerfully, making my breath hitch at her amazing acting.
'No Colin, you can't have feelings for her... YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL WIFE.' I think to myself.
'But Jen is just so beautiful. NO COLIN! YOU JUST MET HER!'

"Anddddd CUT!", yells Alrick sitting in his director's chair. " We'll continue after a quick lunch break!"

Jen swiftly removes the knife off my neck and I breath in relief, rubbing my neck. I turn to talk to her but she has already disappeared and is resting next to a tree, the light hitting her face at just the perfect angle. Her blonde hair flows with the wind, making her tuck it behind her ear. But her eyes...

"OI JEN COME ON YOU DON'T WANT YOUR LUNCH TO GET COLD DO YOU?" A friendly looking man with a smirk yelled at Jen. I think Adam and Eddie said his name was Josh... She rolls her eyes at him and makes her way to her trailer. The man winks at me before disappearing in his trailer. I scratch the back of my head, debating. Taking a deep breath, I make my way to her trailer.

*Jennifer's POV*

Knock Knock Knock
I put my food down and get up from my chair. When I answer the door, I look up, to find two blue crystal eyes locked with mine. Colin... What does he want?

"Uhhh... Mind if I join you for lunch?" He asks hesitantly as he raises an eyebrow, his eyes looking anywhere but my face.

"Not at all! Come on in." I say. Ava jumps out of her bed and starts yapping when she sees Colin. Colin smiles at her.

"And who's this?" Colin asks as he squats down and starts petting ava's head.

"That's Ava, my dog!" I laugh and squat down to pet her. We both start playing with Ava. Then, for just one moment, our hands accidently touch. Sparks fly through my fingertips and up my arm. We both look up at each other and stare at each other before quickly looking away. Colin clears his throat.

"Shall we eat now, luv?"

"He did what?" Colin says trying to contain his laughter. We are sitting on the couch facing each other, stomachs full with tacos. (*smirks* your welcome people)

"Im telling you, he actually took the apple out of my hand and threw it away saying 'Don't eat that'." Colin burst out laughing, as if I told him the most funniest story he have ever heard. His laugh is so cute, I thought, feeling blush raising onto my cheeks.

"Thats priceless!" He says in between laughter. I feel my heart skip a beat. I laugh with him.

"Here, I have a video of it on my phone.... If I can find it." I say, standing up to find my phone. "Now where-". I stop short when I start to fall unexpectedly. I yelp in surprise and would have smashed my face against the floor if two arms haven't wrapped around my waist.

"You alright?" Colin asks, concern lacing in his voice, his hands still keeping me steady.

"Yeah... I... I just slipped." I say as I stand all the way up and brush myself off. His warm hands were on my hips for only a few seconds before retreating. My heartbeat is pounding against my chests and my palms are covered in sweat. I quickly wipe my palms against my jeans and turn to look at him.

He looks down and checks his watch.

"Oh crap! Lunch break has been over for 10 minutes... They're probably looking everywhere for us!" Colin says as he gets up and makes his way to the door.

"Oh no. We have to get back... Alrick is gonna kill us!" I say.

He reaches his hand out and we lock hands as we run out of the door into the blistering sun. We keep our hands locked together as we run as fast as we can to set. We burst into a clearing where the others are filming a scene.

They don't notice us as they have their full attention on the actors doing the scene. I feel a tug and look at Colin to see him motioning to go around them. We make our way quietly around them and...

"And what do you think you're doing?" A voice out of nowhere pops up. I jump and let go of Colins hand, feeling blush coming my face.

"Ginny! Oh uhhh we were just trying to make our way to uhhhh..." I say as I stummer over my words.

"We were just eating lunch together, and we lost track of time." Colin says as he looks over at me and nods assertively. Thank god. I would have just kept stumbling on.

Ginny just smiles and shakes her head before returning her attention to the scene. Colin leans down next to my ear.

"I... um... I just wanted to thank you, Jen. It's my first day, and I barely know anyone here, and I'm beyond happy that you decided to hang out with me."

He's breath tickles my ear. He stands back up and nods to me before making his way to Alrick.
