Chapter 4
"Yes," He said, that answer made my eyes go wide. "I have fancied you," He said while texting back Diana. He used to fancy me!! After I had got it into my thick brain it made me smile. He liked me!! "Do you still like me??" I asked. He looked at the ground and back up and looked into my eyes. "I'm not sure," He said. He was making my heart flutter!! I think I like him!! No, I don't, I cant!! He's my cousins boyfriend!! "Craig, Rose, dinner time. Come down stairs please," My mum shouted up to us.
"Ok, we are just coming mum," I shouted back down. I walked downstairs and Craig followed behind me. We were having salad for a starter, then for a main course pasta, with a tomato sauce. Then finally we were going to have homemade strawberry cheesecake. The pasta was amazing!! You could tell that my mum had made the sauce by hand and it wasn't from a jar. Mine and Craig's mum used t work as chefs.
Dinner passed by slowly. I kept seeing Craig look at me. Then when I looked at him, he would put his head down. Weird!! After dinner me and Craig went back upstairs, while our mums and dads had a coffee. When we were up there I said, "Why did you keep looking at me across the table??" He stared at the wall. He took a deep breath and looked at me. I sat down beside him and he put his arm around me. I got a tingle through my body. I snuggled into him. "You know you can tell me anything," I said, "I wont laugh, unless it's a joke." He turned to face me. He put his hand on my cheek and kissed me!! He fucking kissed me and he is going out with my cousin!! I knew I should of stopped but I couldn't!! I didn't want to!! I kissed him back!! This felt so right!! I had sparks going through my body!! He licked the bottom of my lip asking for entrance, and I opened my mouth willingly, let him explore!! Oh My God why cant I stop?? Why don't I want too stop?? I heard him let out a moan!! I must be a good kisser!! I smiled against his lips. Then I moaned.
After about five minutes we broke the kiss gasping for air. His phone went off. Someone was calling him. "Who is it??" I asked
"Diana," He said guiltily. "Should I let the machine get it??" he asked
"No Craig answer it. I'll pretend I'm not here," I said.
"Hello," Craig said, putting it on loud speaker.
"Hi sexy. I'll be back at school tomorrow," Diana said.
"That's good we all missed you today. Alice quit the cheerleading squad and her and Ross were kissing all day," Craig said.
"Cool, so what's your answer, did you used to like like Rose, my cousin or not??" She asked.
"I texted you the answer," Craig said confused.
"Oh well, I mustn't of got it, just tell me now please," Diana said demandingly sweetly.
"Yes, I said now have to go, my mums calling me. See you tomorrow," He said.
"Ok see you babe, bye," Diana said and hung up.
Craig looked down his phone and didn't look up. It was to quiet so I decided to break the silence. "Craig, why did you kiss me??" I asked curiously. He didn't answer. "Please tell me," I begged him.
"I think I love you," He whispered. It was just loud enough so I could hear him. "Well do you love me or not?? Its simple isn't it. You either love me or not. Which one is it??" I asked. I had to know.
"Ok, then if its that simple do you love me??" he asked. Shit!! He caught me off guard. How do I answer this?? He moved closer to me. I looked at him with his brown shaggy hair, his hazel coloured eyes and his perfect smile. He was actually pretty cute!! "You answer me first, I asked first, do you love me??" I asked him again.
