*Luke's POV*

I follow Joey out of the cabin. Ashton and I follow behind him until we get to a building. There's chairs that are arranged in a circle, most of the chairs filled with smiling people. I sit down in a chair next to a pretty girl and smile at her, but Ashton sits down next to me which makes me groan.

I know the guy wants to be friends and all, I mean, who doesn't want to be my friend? And I would be his friend if he wasn't so damn smiley and annoying. I hate people that are like that, with their smiles and shit. I would like to be as happy as them but honestly, there's nothing to be happy about. You're just another person on this earth and there's nothing special, that's exactly how I feel.

I gasp when I feel somebody nudge me in my side. "What the hell do you want!?" I snap, noticing that it was Ashton who nudged me. He has a big grin set on his face and his eyes were sparkling.

"Pay attention and stop drooling over that girl!" he says and giggles. He winks at me as he turns to Marie and Joey who are standing in the middle of the circle of chairs.

But did he really just wink at me? I want to punch him in the smiley face right now, maybe that would knock the damn smile off of his face.

"Okay guys! So what we are going to be going is this: we'll say our names and say something about ourselves!" Marie says excitedly, which makes me even more annoyed than I already was. "We'll be doing this just to learn something about each other."

Joey smiles. "I'll start!" he says, tapping his foot against the floor. "My name's Joey and I like... people!" he claps. I wouldn't doubt this guy was gay.

Marie claps along with him. "Good," she says, and grins at all of us. "My name's Marie and I have curly hair." she says. Stating the obvious, nice.

Joey walks over to Ashton and pats his curly hair. "Your turn, bud." he says, and Ashton grins and nods, letting out a hum.

"My name is Ashton and I have no friends." Ashton says, and he actually sounds sad. Yay.

"Well that isn't true. I'm your friend and so is Marie, and I'm sure you'll make friends here." Joey pats his head once more before moving onto me. He puts his hand on my head, and I immediately push it off. I WAS having a good hair day.

"Dude you messed up my hair," I say, glaring up at him. "Don't ever touch my hair. I don't like it." I say, running my fingers through my quiffed hair, trying to make it stand up perfectly once again, but it didn't work.

"I'm sorry, bud-"
