My eyes immediately landed on a boy with nice blonde hair and handsome green eyes. He was quiet and kept to himself the entire time.
I was attracted to him, but I was way too shy to open my mouth and initiate a conversation with him. Instead, I just stole quick glances of him throughout the ride.
Eventually, Akila noticed my admiration of the boy next to me since the next thing I knew, I heard:
"Hey Hazel!"
I turned my head towards Akila. She pointed towards the boy next to me with a smirk and a wink. In response, I nodded and mouthed "he's hot". Akila, Ashely and Jennett quickly giggled at my foolishness.

The familiar smell of nature greeted me as I walked towards the back of the bus to retrieve my belongings.
