**Johnathan's POV**
The date me and Ashley scheduled was cancelled, by her. She didn't say much, just 'Cant go tmr bye.' I wasn't anywhere near suspicious, I was just kind of down about it. I went to hang out with Katie but she wouldn't answer her door.
Why? When she saw me, she looked surprised. She opened her porch sliding door and let me in, she smiled awkwardly
"Haha I thought you were Lis." She told me emotionless.
"Did you two have a fight?" I asked her worriedly, she shook her head.
"Oh." I didn't dig into it for once, so we sat in awkwardness.
"Have you seen Cal lately?" Her eyes widened at me, she looked down at the floor and shook her head.
She's obviously hiding something. I pointed out, but what is it? I wondered, but gave up. I stared at her, but she tried to avoid my gaze, I frowned.
"You have seen Cal." She didn't say anything, but I was about to give up and leave.
"It's not what you think- I didn't mean to I mean.." She went quiet and stared at the floor.
She was really vague with a lot of things, I was confused. I frowned at her and furrowed my eyebrows, what happened?
"What are you talking about?!" I asked her clueless.
She didn't say anything and I wasn't about to make her re experience anything. I set a piece of chocolate over her hand, she finally smiled. I grinned, but we didn't exchange any words.
"Ashley cancelled our date. " I told her, sighing.
Katie laughed, "maybe she got tired of you." She teased me.
I held my hand on my chest as if I'd just been shot. I stumbled back as if I didn't have my footing. I fell to my knees and pretended to die. She laughed, and I smiled.
"I'm gonna go check up on Lis." I told her, winking.
She grabbed my shoulder.
"Don't. " She said, and looked away from me when I stared at her.
"Why?" She didn't answer just stared at the floor. "Katie.. did something happen?"
"Did you murder her?!" She didn't laugh.
"No! She just... Jackson.." She wouldn't finish so I grabbed her by the shoulders, gripping her.
"Spit it out, Katie!" She wouldn't look back at me.
"You're hurting me." She pointed out, I released my grasp of her.
"Sorry." I apologized then asked a different question. "Did Jackson hurt her?!" I asked her seriously.
"So you're worried about everyone." I could her mumble under her breath.
I didn't answer because I knew she wouldn't want me to comment about that. I bit my tongue.
"I mean he didn't hurt her..but..." I knew I couldn't rely on Katie for information.
**Katie's POV**
I didn't know how I could say what happened to Lis. Ryan was about to figure it out, though. I couldn't stop him because.. because I wanted Jackson to get what was coming. Honestly, I felt like a monster but it felt good. Maybe that's why everyone left me, I laughed.
I'm becoming sick.
It's not like they notice anyways, I'm moving.
Or have they forgotten?
