Chapter 19;The Past

**JOHNATHAN'S POV**

   It was back in 3rd grade, I had just moved from North Carolina to Minnesota with no one I knew there. My brother had just died a year ago and my parents blamed me for it, so they wouldn't speak to me. I didn't object to the plan so I just gave up, and I went along with it.

During school, I just sat there quietly, like i did after my brother's death.

  During Recess I sat there, but I was intrigued with another boy having fun with some kind of toy that popped up into the air without him touching it. It was pretty awesome when I was that little, he convinced everyone he was a master of gravity.

  I admired him, and kept asking about it. He seemed surprised I was so amazed then he laughed.

  The next day, Jose showed gave me his toy and told me how to use it.

"We'll be bros, right?!"I asked him excitedly.

Jose grinned the childish grin a little kid has. "Right."

I was so excited to have a friend, I started playing this game Club penguin and I met a girl named Katie on there.

  For a lot of nights we hung out, until we went to this chat, I invited Ed there too and we became best friends. It didn't take long to figure out Katie was at our school and neighborhood. We started hanging out with her, running around and playing tag with her. Before I knew it I gained a crush on her, and started talking nervously around her.

  "How do you talk to girls?!?" I blurted out finally to Jose. Jose laughed, unable to keep it in.

"Bro, you know how you talk to me?" He asked me back in his high pitched boy childish voice.

I nodded. "Well you talk to girls that way!"

As soon as I heard that, at recess I ran straight to katie.

"Girly... I mean Kat!" I asked for her smiling innocently.

"Yes?" I grinned, I didn't know what else to say.

"Let's play house." I suggested,  she nodded.

"I will be the dad!" I told her, then without thinking about relationship stuff I said:

"you will be the mom."

She nodded, and smiled. "Ed will be the... the..." before we knew it, Recess was over while we were trying to plan.

On clubpenguin, me and Katie were talking when she said she had to move. I didn't want her to, I didn't know how to take it so I ran away from her on the game. She chased after me, then I finally told her

"I like you!" Then logged off.

  The next day at school, she instantly handed me a heart cutting. I looked up at her with obvious confusion. She didn't say anything, I wasn't nervous at the time.

"Will you be my girlfriend?!" I asked her quickly and smoothly.

She nodded, and we started dating. She must've met another person because she brought her on our chat.

"Guys This Is Alyssa!" She sent us.

At first I didn't know how to react to her, so I ended up acting like a jerk and blamed it on my older brother. Once we grew older we all started to bond. Relationships became complicated but Jose would break that drama. He secretly liked Katie and would date her when I broke up with her.

Eventually I started learning things about everyone, maybe not everything but a lot was the start. Katie didn't like being alone, so she'd date other guys and Alyssa hated feeling like an outsider.
