It had been a few days since Luke and Calum had gone to dinner. Luke had listened to everything Ashton said and followed his advise.
"I have a delivery for a Luke Hemmings." A guy spoke walking into the office holding a bouquet of flowers.
"For me?" Luke frowned as Michael took the flowers from the guy.
"Yeah." Michael nodded checking the tag.
Luke set the flowers down and grabbed the little white card sticking out of the floral design.
"Luke, dinner tonight, be ready by eight. Calum." Luke read off the card.
"Oh my goodness, is he not the sweetest?" Luke cooed excitedly.
"Luuuke, you're so lucky." Michael grinned excitedly.
Ashton walked out of his office and stopped short. A few feet away Luke and Michael were gushing over a vase of flowers.
"Ashton, look what Calum sent Luke." Michael smiled.
"He wants to go out tonight." Luke beamed with excitement.
"That's great news. It means you haven't messed anything up yet." Ashton chuckled forcing a smile.
"Well I did have a pretty good teacher." Luke smiled at Ashton who couldn't help but smile back.
"In fact I got a text from Calum. He said it's a really nice restaurant. I'm nervous." Luke bit his bottom lip anxiously.
"Let's meet at your house after work. I'll help you." Ashton winked earning a grin from the blonde.
Ashton walked away then, not wanting to hear anymore about Luke's dreamy neighbor. In fact he was growing to hate the guy and he'd never met him.
-
Ashton knocked on the door of Luke's house. There was no answer. Ashton knocked again.
Luke swung the door open revealing himself in nothing but a towel.
"I'm so glad you're here. I have no idea what to wear." Luke stressed pulling Ashton up the stairs and to his room.
Ashton fought dirty images that popped into his head as Luke plopped down on his bed. There were shirts and pants scattered among the floor.
"Ashton, what do I do? I'm not the fancy restaurant type." Luke groaned.
"It's gonna be fine. We just need to work on a few things. Don't worry." Ashton smiled placing his hands on Luke's shoulders.
"That's easy for you to say, you can get every guy you want." Luke rolled his eyes.
"Is that so?" Ashton asked raising a brow at the blonde.
Luke nodded.
"Are you saying I could get you?" Ashton smirked.
Luke rolled his eyes.
"Stop flirting and help me get ready."
Ashton laughed slightly. He honestly didn't want to help Luke get ready for his date with chisel chin. He wanted to keep flirting with him. He found Luke endearing. And he was drawn to him.
"Ashton." Luke snapped his fingers snapping Ashton out of his thoughts.
"Sorry. Umm do those slacks and that red button down." Ashton said looking at Luke's closet.
"That was fast." Luke frowned.
"I know what looks good." Ashton shrugged.
"Okay so what do I need to do?" Luke asked as he grabbed the clothes from the closet. He pulled underwear on under his towel before letting it drop to the floor.
"Well, you need to act like you bong for one. No spilling drinks. No asking which fork is for salad." Ashton said watching Luke get dressed.
"There's a fork for salad?" Luke asked frowning.
Ashton laughed.
"It's the smaller one."
Luke nodded committing it to memory.
"Don't look so serious." Ashton laughed again.
"Flirt with me."
"What?" Luke frowned thrown off by Ashton's request.
"I want to see how you flirt with him." Ashton explained.
"I know how to flirt." Luke rolled his eyes.
"I'll be the judge of that." Ashton answered.
Luke then reached over Ashton to grab his phone.
He put his hand on Ashton's thigh to support himself.
"I love the way these jeans feel. That's a really nice material." Luke said rubbing his hand up Ashton's thigh a bit.
"I, uh, thanks." Ashton answered slightly flustered.
Luke smirked as he pulled away.
"Oh, I see what you did there." Ashton commented realizing that Luke was flirting with him.
"So am I ready?" Luke asked.
"As ready as you'll ever be." Ashton smiled.
"I'm so nervous. What if I mess up?" Luke bit his lip.
Ashton loved when Luke did that it made Ashton want to bite his lip or Luke bite Ashton's lip.
"Ash."
"You'll be fine. You got him hooked, you let him dangle, now you get to reel in the reward." Ashton smiled.
"Are we fishing or dating?" Luke laughed.
At that moment Luke's doorbell rang signalling Calum's arrival.
Luke's face lit up causing conflicting emotions in Ashton. One happiness to see Luke so excited, two jealousy cause now Calum got to spend the evening with Luke.
"Go get 'im tiger." Ashton winked before watching Luke rush downstairs.
