Chapter 5

"I will sir"

I flipped to the page Nikki was, 

"Incendio"

The  paper in front of me ignited in flames.

"Very good Piper, now, How were you able to do that so easily?"

"I simply said the word that the book said and waved my hand...It's not that hard"

Professor Longbottom stared at me with intent.

"Well class, you can use this spell to cause anything you please to ignite in flames, just like a plant. You can use this for when a fire goes out in your fireplace"

The entire class struggled in trying to ignite their paper while I wasn't paying any attention and suddenly was able to do something so easily.

"How did you do that?"

Nikki waved her hand around the paper,

"Well first of all you need to say the spell"

She laughed and spoke,

"I can't do it!"

I shook my head.

"Incendio"

I lit her paper and she looked at me,

"Professor look! I did it!"

I shook my head and looked at Professor and he smiled at me.

"Nikki, did you ignite your paper?"

She nodded.

"Class, Nikki is going to show you how to properly ignite your papers"

She shook her head. I pointed and laughed at her. She glared at me and mouthed "Help me",

That was just what I was gonna do too.

"No, Professor I think we are good here"

Scorpius stood,

"Nikki, I don't think I can do it. You will need to help me"

He snickered and his friends next to him snickered too. Since when was he so mean?

"Well, first you take you paper and set it on the desk"

She picked up a piece of paper and placed it on the desk.

"Then you say 'Incendio' then boom, it's lit"

I lit the paper from my seat and Professor watched me, I shrugged, mouthing "sorry". He shook his head, disappointed in me. Nikki walked over to my seat,

"You owe me"

She nodded and hung her head.

"I should have never asked you to help me cheat"

I nodded,

"Don't make it such a big deal"

"Class dismissed"

"Wait, Professor, what's for homework?"

He flipped through a spellbook.

"Practice Incendio"

I picked up my books and placed them in my bag. I lifted the bag on my shoulder and walked out of the classroom only to be pulled back in.

"How did you do that so well? No one has ever been able to just waved their hand and boom it's on fire"

I shrugged and waved bye while walking back out of the classroom. Nikki followed and we walked back to the common  room.

"Hey, do you think you could teach me how you did that?"
