4- She Knows...?

Zane's POV ~

I woke up with Y/N still on my shoulder, sleeping peacefully. I didn't want to move or make any noise that would wake her up. I know I have feelings for Y/N, I jut don't know if she likes me back... I feel like I need to tell her, but at the right time. I pondered for a bit. 'I have an idea...' I thought. I looked down at her. 'She's so cute... the way her (H/L) (H/C) hair blows in the breeze... Her big, deep beautiful (E/C) eyes, that smile...' I smile at the thought.

Aphmau groans from beside me. "Aaron... no don't leave... we need to eat... POPTARTS!" She sat up immediately, breathing heavily.

I quietly laugh. "Shhh! Are you OK?" I ask.

"Did I say that out loud...?" She blushed. "Yeah, I'm fine. Did you sleep here?"

"Um... yeah. Is that alright? It was really late and I didn't want to wake anyone up by leaving." I gesture to Y/N on my shoulder, who was now lightly snoring, but her snores sounded like cat purrs. I smile.

"You like her... don't you?" Aphmau leaned in, and noticed me smiling.

I tried to keep it cool. 'I do like her, but I can't tell Aph that...' "What? No, I mean, I can see why you think that but I don't like h-her..." I stuttered the last bit, cursing myself for being so obvious. I blushed.

"Suuuuure. Okay." She smirked, making her words longer.

Y/N twitched her head.

"Shhh!"

Y/N slightly stretches, and yawns. "Morning, everyone... I'm gonna go set... the alarm clock... and eat some food!~" Her voice was slurred, she was clearly still in her dream, but awake.

Aphmau giggled. "That was random..."

"Hey, you were talking about Aaron leaving when you woke up. And then you yelled out 'POPTARTS'. Give her a break."

She blushed. "F-Fine. Alright I'll stop."

I nodded. Y/N yawns again, and opens her eyes. "Morning-- GAH! ZANE?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM?!"

"Y/N! Calm down! I'm not in your room, we slept at Aphmau's place last night!" Aphmau waves.

"Oh... Sorry for yelling at you, Zane."

Aphmau raises an eyebrow. She leans forward, and whispers in my ear: "She totally likes you.~"

"Aphmau!!!"

Aphmau leans back. "Ok, ok! Sorry! I'll stop!"

"Better."

Y/N puts her head back on my shoulder. "I'm bored," she says.

I blush. I look over at Aphmau, and mouth to her; 'I think you were right', while my face is bright red.
She smirks. She mouths back; 'I knew it'.

"Anyone hungry?" Aph asked.

"I'm not," Y/N replies.

"Me neither." I shrug.

There was a knock at the door. Aphmau gets up off the couch, and runs over to answer it. "Hey, Garroth!" 'Garroth?! Oh no... please don't let him in--'

"C'mon, in!" Aphmau holds the door open for him to walk in, closing it behind him.

'Please don't notice me, please don't notice me...'

"Baby brother!"

'Crap...'

"I didn't know you had a girlfriend!" Garroth beams, his eyes sparkling.

Y/N was the first to speak up. "M-me?! I'm not his g-girlfriend!" She blushes dark pink. It's cute.

I feel my face heat up. "Y-Y/N isn't my girlfriend, Garroth! She's just a friend!"

"Oh. Sorry for assuming things. I'm Garroth, by the way! ZuZu's older brother!" He holds out his hand for Y/N to shake it.

She shakes his hand. "I'm Y/N! Nice to meet you, Garroth!" She smiles.

'Such a beautiful happy girl...' I think to myself, and sigh.

Your POV~

Flashback:

"Y-Y/N isn't my girlfriend, Garroth! She's just a friend!" Zane blushed. I'm glad he saw me as a friend. I sigh. 'I wish he saw me as more than a friend though... I know I like him, I just want to know if he likes me back before I say anything...'

End of Flashback~

Garroth seems like a nice guy. I can see why he thought Zane and I were dating, though. I had my head on his shoulder when he walked in. That's pretty obvious, right?

"So, Garroth. What brings you here?" Aphmau asks him.

"Actually, I wanted to know if Katelyn was here." He replies.

"Yeah, she should be up in her room. But don't wake her up if she's asleep, and don't bust down her door." She giggles.

"Alright," Garroth goes upstairs and knocks on Katelyn's door.

"IF YOU'RE TRAVIS, THEN GO AWAY. ANYONE ELSE, COME IN."

We all laugh.

"It's Garroth, Katelyn. May I come in?"

"It's open," Katelyn says.

Garroth walks inside Katelyn's room.

"I should get going," Zane says.

"Oh no, you don't! It's Thursday, and you said you would come to my place today!" I tell him.

"Oh yeah, right. Then I guess we should get going. Better?"

"Better."

"Alright! Well, I guess I'll see you guys later!" Aphmau said.

"Of course! Bye, Aph!" I say, opening the front door.

"Bye." Zane waves, and follows after me. I close the door behind me, and walk down to my place, Zane following the whole way.

I unlock the front door, and we walk in. Since there's no furniture, we walk into the living room and sit on the floor against the wall. "What do ya want to do?" Zane asks me.

"Well, I have some of my ponies upstairs in my room. And I have a couple boardgames, too. Which do you prefer?"

He thinks for a second. "Hmm... I guess we could play board games, since we had a pony war yesterday."

"OR we could watch My Little Horsies for a while!~" I smile.

His eyes sparkle. "Really?"

"Do you think I would be kidding? Of course! I just have to get a few things first."

"OK! Need some help?"

"Sure! Follow me!" We get up, and walk down the hall to two huge cardboard boxes.

"Boxes?" Zane looked confused.

"No, what's inside the boxes, silly!" I open one of the boxes, and pull out a giant pillow of (F/P) (favorite pony). Zane opens the other box and pulls out another giant pillow of (S/F/P) (second favorite pony).

"These are awesome!" He said, petting the soft plush fabric.

"Thanks! Let's go put these on the floor of the living room, and watch our 'show'."I giggle.

We carry the huge pillows into the living room, and lay them down on the floor carefully. Zane slowly crawls onto his, making it comfortable. I jump onto mine, and wiggle around a little until it feels perfect. I turn on the TV, and we watch MLH from where we left off at Aphmau's house. Pretty good day so far, so I would say.
