18- Amusement Park

Author's POV-

Y/N woke up, with the morning sun shining through the window, lighting up the room. She realized she was still at Zane's house, cuddling on the couch. Zane was still asleep, by the looks of it.

Y/N kissed him on the cheek softly, and cuddled back up into his arms.

Zane's eyes fluttered open. "Morning, Y/N~" He purred.

"Good morning, Zaney~" Y/N giggles. "How did you sleep?"

Zane yawns. "I slept good, what about you?"

"I slept great, thanks." She smiled. He smiled back.

"What time is it?" Y/N asks.

"Hm.." Zane checks his phone, the light from the screen burns his eyes. "10:57."

Y/N rubs her eyes. "Okay, so we should leave for the park at 12:00."

"Yeah. Do you know if everyone else is packed?" Zane asks.

"Garroth and Laurence are, but I don't know about Katelyn." Y/N replies.

"Oh, and Aph and Aaron too." He adds.

"Yes, right! Thanks, Zane!" She smiles.

He smiles back.

Your POV-

I text Aphmau. Since she lives with Katelyn, and her and Aaron are super close, Aph can tell the other two about it. I reminded her about the amusement park. She confirms that her, Aaron and Katelyn are packed. We discuss a time we should meet up at my place. 11:30, so we can pack up our stuff into Zane's car and leave the house by 12:00. Not that it will take us 30 minutes to put bags into the trunk, or anything.

"So? What time? What house? Are they packed?" Zane asks, his hands on my shoulders gently.

"11:30, at my-- our house." I giggle.

"O-Oh! I forgot about that! Our house! Yeah!" He laughs.

"You're so silly, Zane~" I hug him.

He hugs back.

"So, should we head over to our house now?" He asks.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go!" I hold his hand gently. He holds mine. We walk over to my house.

Aphmau, Aaron, Katelyn, Garroth and Laurence show up not too long after Zane and I. We pack all our stuff into the trunk of Zane's car, and head inside. Zane and I look around. "Welcome home," I whisper to him. He blushes.

"So, should we leave now? It's 11:40. Better safe than sorry." Aphmau states.

"True, let's go! Who in who's car?" Katelyn asks.

"Well, Zane's car won't fit all of us, so I can take Laurence, Aphmau and Aaron, while Zane can take Y/N and Katelyn?" Garroth suggests.

"Sounds good to me," Zane implies. I nod.

"Great! Let's get the show on the road, then!" Laurence smiles.

We hop into our cars, and start driving.

After ten minutes of driving, Katelyn speaks up.

"So, why aren't you two dating?"

My face immediately heated up. Zane's face was bright red.

"Well, uh.." I started, but lost my voice.

"We um.." Zane blinks.

"It's not really... your business, okay..?" I tell her.
