FEATHERWING Silver and the Legend of Myrad

Introduction

Four Griffins flew down to the golden palace of Queen Sunset, they pushed the

heavy silver gates that matched their armour. The guards let them parce as the went through the hall of gems. As they were heading to the royal peace meeting. The went into a room made of bronze and there in front of them was a long table with all the council, the Queen on the end. The first Griffin sat down, he was the Griffin of the North. The second Griffin sat down she was the Griffin of the South. To other male Griffins sat down they were the Griffins of the East and West. When everyone was seated the Queen got up and said,

"Where are the Shadowstalkers and their King, don't they take this meeting seriously!" She growled. The Queen had a Cheetah body and had Parrot wings so she looked like the sunset. Just as she said these words the huge doors flung open and black mist spilled out filling the room as it cleared a figure came out of the smoke, it was the Shadowstalker King. The Shadowstalkers were horrible things. They had snake body's with thousands of legs and lights hagged out from there back. The King was huge he was a King Cobra with a frill like the snake itself, he could change his size and how strong he was, he also had bat like wings on his back. He had another secret that he wouldn't tell anyone.

His minions (as he would call them) where all different types of snakes except they could only camouflage, also they had bat like wings. They lived on a storm cloud that disappeared in the day and if you were unlucky you would disappear with it. The Griffins and Shadowstalkers were never fond of each other but were never enemies either.

"You're late, again." Queen Sunset huffed.

"I have my excussssessss." The King hissed.

"If you were smart, you wouldn't have come late." The Queen replied,

"If you were sssmart, you wouldn't come on my bad ssside." he spat back, red glowed in his eyes then suddenly streams of luminescent light headed straight for the Queen. One of the Guard flung himself in front of the Queen, she stared at him in horror as he fell to the ground the wound sizzling away.

"What a pity." the King said. Anger grew inside the Queen, she flung herself at the King he cried out in agony, as her teeth dug into him, his minions shrieked as they ran up to him carrying him away. A pool of blood was left behind from the blood that had poured out of the bite mark..

"Hmmf." the Queen said and sat back down.

"This meeting is adjourned." The Griffins piled out to shocked to speak of what had just occurred.
