Wally made it to the steps when

"Wallace"

When he heard that voice he froze with anger he turned around

"What are you doing here?" Wally asked until he looked his father up and down

"So your a police officer now or are you just dressed up like that"

"No I want to the academy and became a police officer just this year but that's not what I want to talk about I want to talk about what happened"

"What happened was that we went to carnival and about halfway though you ditched me and never came back I was five years old yet you broke a promise we made a year before that you never leave yet you did leave" Wally yelled

"Why?" Wally asked

"Wally I never wanted to leave you the thing is after you mother ran off with another guy she toke all the money we had and l couldn't take care of you and work I left you at the carnival because it was closer to the police station and I knew you were smart enough to found your way I knew you'll have a better life. I came back to try to explain to you a while ago but I saw you smiling you and you were happy with out me"

"Doesn't mean I didn't need a dad"

"I know, I left because when l saw your first smile and laugh l knew you didn't deserve a alcoholic mother who slept around and a dead beat dad you deserve a warm house with working dad, a mother who's there when you need her, a home cooked meal I'm so sorry for leaving you but l regretted it every day just like your going to regret leaving him"

Wally looked at him shocked and embarrassed

"Don't be like me Wally who runs away from things because your too afraid of what happens next you'll regret it for the rest of your life"

Wally looked back at the entrance then back at his dad

"Um do you want to get coffee sometime?" Wally asked

"I would love to I should get back to work now but come to the police station " Wally's father said before leaving

"Yeah and I should go back in there" Wally went back in

And got hugged by Robin

"Dude what happened? Why did you lea....."

Before Robin could finish that sentence Wally kissed him 

"what was that for" Rob asked

"Can we leave?"

"Sure, bye Bruce"

Rob said before he and Wally left the manor

"Master Bruce what was the real reason behind this party" Alfred said

"Just helping other people" Bruce said with a smirk before talking to other guests
