Friday the thirteenth, ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you.

Is Friday the thirteenth REALLY superstitious?

It occurs only once this year, on Friday, June 13, 2014.

Some people believe that the number 13 and black cats, which are associated with Friday 13, are symbols of femininity (I do not know what that means) . Friday the 13th has been advertised by Hollywood movies such as American cult horror film “Friday the 13th” and its sequels. An image of a hockey mask is often associated with the film.

Here is a starteling, real story:

During the Lowestoft Seafront Air Festival in England, one teen spectator was literally given the shock of his life when he was struck by a stray bolt of lightening. Miraculously, he survived and was immediately treated for a minor burn on his shoulder. But what truly makes this a strange story is the fact that the boy was 13 yearsold, struck at 13:13 military time(1:13 p.m.) and it all took place on Friday the 13th! Now that’s unlucky!

So, in conclusion, it is very real. So everybody, watch your backs on June 13th!
