Hours later.
I had never seen Harry so aggravated before.
Dinner had been as I expected, Harry and Liam fought like chickens.
Liam openly flirting with me.
Liam's embarrasing stories about Harry, like how he pissed himself during a school play, how he 'accidentally' choked on his own spit when he was asking a girl out. That last one was funny to be quite honest. Harry scared of asking a girl out? Hilarious.
After we finished dinner, Liam demanded that he wash-up. I found Harry on the balcony. His right hand holding a beer, elbows resting on the metal, head facing above, a frown visible in his face.
"Hey sweetcheeks," I joked in a fake southern accent.
"Sweetcheeks? Really?" He turned and looked at me with a startled face but quickly covered it up with a light chuckle.
"I was trying to cheer you up! You shouldn't frown too much. You looked like an emo."
"I do not!"
"Okay fine, you just looked sentimental." I joked.
"Do you wanna hear a joke?" He asked, completely changing the subject.
"Okay fine."
"So the past, the present and the future walked into a bar," he paused. "...It was tense."
"That's crap."
"Grammar jokes are funny," He rolled his eyes, "I shouldn't have wasted such a good joke on a moron like you."
"Go to hell Harry,"
"As long as you go there first," He joked and I gave him a light shove.
"Can I ask you a question?"
"Uh... yeah sure."
"You promise that you will answer it honestly?"
"Yup. What is it anyways? The color of the boxer I'm wearing right now?" He smirked.
"Have you been inlove?" I seemed to catch him off guard.
For the first time, Harry didn't have that annoying smirk in his face. He simply looked baffled with the question. Harry took a few seconds to work on his mouth, but even after he spoke, his tone was filled with uncertainty.
"You're interested in my love life?"
"No you rat-face. I was just asking you a simple question!" I groaned.
"I will answer that, if you answer first."
"But-"
"You know I won't answer that unless you answer it first, Elena." He said in a final tone.
Heaving a sigh, I answer truthfully. "No."
"Are you sure?" He cocked an eyebrow.
"One hundred percent. What about you?" I turned my head to look at him.
"It's a secret." He smirked.
"That's not fair! You promised-" He cut me off.
"Chill the fuck out I was just kidding!" He paused. "She didn't catch me when I fell."
She?
Does that mean he has fallen in love before?
"Are you saying that, there's this one girl who is walking on this earth right this very moment, who rejected you?" I asked not believing him.
